Episode 479. Reactive Cellular Changes?

“Hello, Doctor.”

“Welcome.”

As Kana entered the examination room, Dr. Euijin greeted her warmly.

Generally, sexually active adults, regardless of gender, should get tested at an OB/GYN or urology clinic.

It can easily identify STDs and vaginitis that people may have, and since STDs may not always show symptoms, it’s a good idea to get tested if you’ve never had one before.

The test is performed at OB/GYN and urology clinics and is not painful or uncomfortable.

“The results came back negative for everything. Kana, you mentioned feeling occasional itching, so I thought vaginitis might show up, but it didn’t.”

“Really? That’s a relief.”

“Itchy symptoms can occur before and after menstruation, so you don’t need to worry too much. And the Pap smear result showed reactive cellular changes.”

“Reactive cellular changes?”

Kana looked concerned at Euijin’s results, wondering if it was something bad.

Reactive cellular change literally means there is a reaction in the cells and is not a pathological symptom.

It refers to changes in cell shape due to hormonal influences, etc., and does not indicate any particular abnormality.

After Oh Siwon’s comment ended, soft music flowed from the small speakers in the restaurant.

-Kana, when I think about it, it’s already been over 10 years since we’ve been together. Time has passed so quickly that I don’t even know when it flowed by. I still can’t forget the day of the second semester opening 11 years ago. I don’t usually late for class, you know?

I opened the back door of the lecture hall and just sat in the closest empty seat. But you were next to me.
