The atmosphere around them felt strange, thick with unspoken tension.
But Legion couldn’t afford to dwell on such things right now; his mind was elsewhere.
Dreyza, ever pragmatic, didn’t offer advice, thinking, “It’s not my business,” and wisely refrained from saying, “You shouldn’t do that.”
Natalie, completely smitten, thought, “Oh my, he’s even cool when he’s beating people up.”
Driven by his goal, Legion bought out all of Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair [a popular skincare serum known for its brown bottle] at twice the market price. He completely emptied his funds just buying cosmetics.
“Okay, let’s bounce!” Legion shouted.
Legion ran out of the Magic Tower even after spending all his money, afraid that Mibaek would chase after him and demand more money.
Mibaek checked his pockets, on the verge of tears.
He had even been robbed of the special edition Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair he was going to give to the Gongwang’s wife [Gongwang likely refers to a noble or high-ranking official’s wife]. He was a dead man now.
But… his expression changed the moment he looked into his pocket.
“Holy moly.”
The pouch Legion had left behind contained at least 100,000 gold. Although one brown bottle cost 2,000 gold and the special edition cost 5,000 gold, the cost was still high, making it difficult to amass such a sum.
But-
The 100,000 gold Legion had left behind…
This was more than ten times the net profit he had made in the past few years.
Mibaek turned his head from side to side, a bit dazed.
His neck was a little sore. His eyes also hurt a little from being hit by the gold-filled pouch.
“Ah, this isn’t a dream.”
He healed himself with healing magic.
100,000 gold.
Life is good.
“Let’s get out of the Magic Tower,” he muttered.
There was no reason to earn any more money. He would be too busy spending it. “They say life is a one-shot deal, and it really is! Awesome, great!”
His wife always nagged him to earn money.
He brought her so much money, money earned by having his essence and mana sucked out to make brown bottles, but his wife spent it all on her family.
Recently, she even took out a 5,000 gold loan in Mibaek’s name. When he asked her where she spent it, she yelled at him, saying she would take care of it.
“Goodbye.”
Wife.
“Yes, let’s go to the port city of Siem in heaven. The place that revives even dead peppers!” [This is likely a euphemism for a place known for its nightlife and entertainment] “Let’s send a divorce complaint through a lawyer there.”
“And I will not leave the port city of Siem until I have spent all 100,000 gold. Let’s disguise myself and change my name so no one can find me.”
Mibaek made up his mind, packed his bags, and left the Magic Tower that day.

Saibiman, who had compiled all the data on the Stone Head Church, waited anxiously for Legion.
The room was dim because the thick, dark curtains were drawn. He couldn’t open the curtains because he was convinced someone was watching him from outside.
He was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
“Those Stone Head Church bastards…”
They were truly meticulous beyond imagination.
They had deeply infiltrated every part of the kingdom and the continent. Even here in the Magic Tower. He couldn’t relax for a moment because he didn’t know who was a spy for the Stone Head Church.
At least he could trust Legion.
Hadn’t they fought a life-or-death battle with the Stone Head Church from the first place they met?
“He is a hero.”
“A man full of manliness and charisma. Mizset, his disciple, said he was a man worth risking her life for. Mizset is smart. Her eyes are trustworthy. She had actually confirmed him in the Dark Elf village.”
“That man would definitely fight for the kingdom.”
So he was going to hand over all the data he had collected to him.
But……
Saibiman had finished all his tea. It seemed like the appointment time had passed by two hours already.
Legion, whom he was supposed to meet, had not yet appeared.
“That’s strange. He’s not the kind of man to break a promise like it’s nothing.”
They say you can tell ten things from seeing one.
Saibiman waited another two hours. He even fell asleep while waiting.
Waking up, he opened the window. The sun was already setting. A beautiful red sunset was unfolding.
A whole day was passing by.
In the distance, he saw a man resembling Mibaek hurriedly leaving somewhere in a carriage loaded with luggage.
“No way.”
Unable to bear the wait any longer, Saibiman visited Legion’s room. Surprisingly, his room was on fire.
He called a passing trainee magician and asked him everything.
Saibiman’s complexion hardened as he listened to the trainee magician’s words.
“Ah! The evil hands of the Stone Head Church have reached him.”
Saibiman’s heart felt heavy.
“Where did he go?”
Saibiman asked the trainee magician again.
“He left the Magic Tower in a hurry. He seemed to have something very urgent to do.”
“Didn’t he leave a message for me?”
“I’m not sure. I wasn’t the one who took care of Baron Legion.”
“I see. You may go now.”
“Then, goodbye.”
The trainee magician bowed to Saibiman at a 90-degree angle and walked away.
Saibiman looked out the window.
“Baron Legion left in a hurry. He must have had to. I was a fool. I didn’t even know when the terror happened. It was impossible, even if the floors were different.”
“That man’s life might be in danger, and I’m distracted by other things!”
“There’s no way he ran away.”
“The reason he hurriedly left the Magic Tower was probably to chase after the culprit.”
“He’s really a fiery man.”
“I respected him as a man. If I were only 30 years younger, I would have liked to form a party with that man.”
Saibiman clenched his fist.
“I’ll risk my life to hold out until you return, Baron Legion.”
Unfortunately-
Legion did not recall his memories with Saibiman for a year.

Legion moved toward the capital as quickly as possible.
From his point of view, he said ‘as quickly as possible,’ but Dreyza and Natalie were bored to death.
Dreyza and Natalie slept when they were sleepy.
They slept soundly for about two hours and then chased after Legion. Although they slept for two hours, they were able to catch up with Legion in just 20 minutes.
“He said all his stats have increased significantly, but I don’t know why his walking speed doesn’t increase.”
“No, I don’t know how his movements become so fast when he fights.”
“At this rate, it will take more than a month to get to the capital,” Dreyza said with a sigh.
“Then what should we do?” Legion also seemed frustrated.
The mountain road was rough, so they couldn’t ride horses.
Of course, the carriage can handle Legion. A whopping 8-wheeled carriage. They would have to find a carriage that at least 8 horses could pull.
Otherwise, neither the carriage nor the horse can withstand Legion’s weight.
In other words, the best thing is for Legion to move on his own two feet. The problem is that it’s too slow. At this rate, there’s no end in sight.
“It would be nice to have Nubyeo Nubyeo,” Legion said wistfully.
Dreyza nodded at Legion’s words.
“There may be people who have never ridden it once, but there is no one who has only ridden it once, the Wyvern’s back. It flies through the sky at a speed of hundreds of kilometers per hour. That tremendous speed made Legion pee his pants.”
It only takes an hour to cross the wide and vast Düsselph Mountains.
For the first time in his life, Legion was able to see the entire vista of the Düsselph Mountains from the sky.
That overwhelming majesty was something he could never erase from his mind.
Unfortunately, he can’t get in touch with Nubyeo Nubyeo.
“Those bastards should have come sooner!”
So, in order to meet Nubyeo Nubyeo, he had to make an appointment in advance. Of course, if they were nearby, he could summon them with a whistle.
But Nubyeo Nubyeo really hated whistles.
-I’m not a horse! Just call me by my name!
“Son of a bitch.”
“Just because he’s a slightly superior ride, he’s being so petty!”
For that reason, Legion just had to walk around. Thanks to Nubyeo Nubyeo, Legion was seriously considering whether there was something he could ride.
“I can’t do this.”
Legion, exhausted, plopped down on a nearby rock. It was a hot summer. Inside his helmet, Legion was sweating non-stop.
The huge backpack he was carrying on his back contained a water bottle. Legion would collapse if he didn’t replenish his fluids because he sweated so much.
“Why does it have to be iron armor!”
From noon to 2 p.m., the inside of the iron armor boiled like a furnace.
It was painfully cold in the winter and quickly heated up in the summer, making it unbearable.
“Sarah Connor or whatever.”
“If a situation arises where he can’t take off his iron armor-”
“He will take revenge on that bitch, even if it means destroying the world.”
“It’s already slow, but if you keep resting like this, you won’t arrive in the capital on time.”
“I know. I know. Please understand my situation. I’m really going to die.”
Unable to bear the heat, Legion lowered his face shield and fanned himself.
Natalie, surprised by his skin color, asked him why, but he didn’t answer. Legion was too exhausted from the heat to even answer.
“Do you know about Ghost Horses?” Legion asked.
“Ghost Horse?”
“Yeah.”
“I’ve heard of it. Isn’t that the skeleton horse? It is said that anyone who sees a Ghost Horse is cursed and dies. There’s also a story that it takes away human souls to take care of itself.”
“Yeah. That’s right. I’m talking about that Ghost Horse. I wonder if there are any undead around here who raise that Ghost Horse?”
“…….”
“Could it be……?”
At Legion’s words, Dreyza and Natalie couldn’t help but be shocked. They looked at Legion with eyes that said, ‘No way, no way.’
No matter how they looked at it, Legion was serious.
“What is this crazy bastard trying to do again!”

Don Quixote and Jack Nicher were still alive.
They are inherently strong. But one day, from a certain point on, the attacks of enemies began without a moment’s rest.
Why? They didn’t know.
The Stone Head Church, vampires, and even the kingdom’s official hunters constantly attacked them.
All sorts of charges were leveled against them.
Their skills improved rapidly-
Don Quixote finally gained enlightenment and became a 7-star master.
He had been a 7-star walker for over ten years, but after experiencing tremendous combat, he became a master in just a few months.
It was the same for Jack Nicher.
He also became a 6-star master.
The two are very well in sync.
They were confident that if they joined forces, they would not be pushed back even if they faced an 8-star knight.
The place they were heading to was the capital.
Originally, they were hunters who moved under the orders of the royal family.
In other words, they were criminals who received a license to kill in exchange for working for the royal family.
But the government is targeting them.
At first, there were so many enemies pouring in that they were 정신이 없었지만 [a Korean phrase meaning ‘out of their minds’ or ‘overwhelmed’] – now it’s not.
They have to sort things out.
Don Quixote gained himself as he became a 7-star master.
“I am a one-man army.”
“In order to defeat me, you must also pay that price.”
So Don Quixote and Jack Nicher were heading to the capital.
“Why on earth!”
“Are the people of the world targeting us!”
It was to hear that confirmation.
Whoosh!
Don Quixote shook the blood off his sword. At his feet, dozens of bounty hunters had lost their lives and fallen. They used all sorts of methods, but failed to capture Don Quixote.
“Let’s go. To the capital.”
“We must go. Let’s grab those bastards by the hair and drag them down. Why are they doing this to us?”
The eyes of serial killer Jack Nicher gleamed coldly.
Don Quixote and Jack Nicher nodded and began walking in the direction Legion had gone.
