Magic is Useless-48
# 48
Destruction Manual (1)
Mizsett, the Gale Wizard.
It was true that her reputation was inflated compared to her actual skills. People were more interested in her appearance than her abilities. Even so, her skills were by no means lacking.
A 3rd Circle mage.
In a small territory, she could easily become a master, and she had the skills to hold a prominent position in a small country.
Yet, she chose to wander as a mercenary.
It wasn’t to show off. She wanted to break through the barrier to becoming a 3rd Circle Master by experiencing real battles. There was also the small matter of having to leave the Magic Tower after being caught doing human experiments… which resulted in that bastard becoming a eunuch. Honestly, I still don’t understand. Why did *he* become a eunuch when I was doing armpit odor experiments? I didn’t even touch *that* area.
But she couldn’t break through the wall….
Coming here, she encountered an even bigger wall.
What the hell *is* this place? More than twenty mediocre mages. And ogres wandering around fully armed. She was beaten like a dog by the mages and turned into a rag by the ogres.
*I* never thought *I’d* have such an experience in my life.
And that pig in front of me.
He’s definitely a mage.
The surrounding mana is thick with energy.
But he doesn’t use magic. He just swings his hands and feet with that fat body, beating the veteran warriors… just beating them.
“Kuaaaak!”
Haimo was punched in the face and collapsed. He stood up like an immortal several times, but now all his fighting spirit had vanished. His eyes were full of disbelief.
The beautiful dark elf, Heiler, was also shocked.
Overcome by fear, he ran to the closed door and yanked at it.
The door wouldn’t open; it was locked tight.
Legion jumped, his fat body landing heavily as he grabbed Heiler’s hair. Heiler couldn’t resist. He fell to the floor and rolled around before scrambling to his feet.
A handful of his beautiful hair was missing.
“Die, you pig bastard!”
Heiler pulled out a dagger and rushed in, slashing quickly. The pig blocked the dagger with his arm.
Ah, damn it.
The dagger couldn’t penetrate his arm; it bounced off. It was like stabbing rubber. Heiler twisted his body, but the dagger grazed his neck.
Tingle-tingle-
Heiler trembled as if he had been electrocuted and fell to the floor. Paring and Mizsett stared, dumbfounded, at the fallen Heiler.
What should I say?
It felt like watching a bad play.
It was as if Haimo and Heiler were putting on a scene to make us laugh.
“Captain, Heiler, are you kidding? What are you doing?”
Mizsett asked, her voice trembling.
But neither Haimo nor Heiler got up.
“Why… what’s wrong? It’s scary. Get up quickly.”
Mizsett quickly stepped back and raised her staff. Mana gathered, powerful mana.
“I’ll fry you! Rising Thunder!”
Mizsett’s magic exploded. Lightning that pierced the ceiling struck Legion.
Bzzzt!
Rubber does not conduct electricity.
Everyone who has been educated knows that. The fact that she didn’t know meant that the human body could be like rubber, which was a very high-dimensional problem.
Her attack had no effect on Legion.
While Mizsett was momentarily flustered, the attack magic she created wavered. The lightning, having lost its way, wandered around before hitting Haimo’s bald head.
“Kuaaaak!”
He had been hoping to find a way to fix his baldness, but with this, that hope was nipped in the bud. How sad would Haimo be if he got up and found out?
Mizsett felt a pang of sympathy as she thought about that.
So, unknowingly, her staff shook, and the lightning passed the pig and enveloped her.
“Uwaaaaaak!”
Mizsett trembled. She trembled and slowly turned to look at Paring.
*What* the hell *is* that pig?
Paring couldn’t answer.
It was difficult to understand how this situation had happened. Certainly, the last fireball was great… but it was only 1st Circle… But today it’s not magic, what the hell….
He subdued Haimo with a slap?
Before he knew it, he was the only one left. The pig bastard was smacking his lips while looking at him.
*Surely* he’s not going to eat me, is he? Paring’s face turned white.
Legion smacked his lips and gestured to Paring.
“Let’s start with a bit of a beating.”
Ah, he’s not going to eat me. He’s going to hit me. The thought of ‘that’s a relief’ quickly soured.

Bacon and Lotto ran to the village tavern.
They were supposed to protect Legion tonight, but he disappeared while they were distracted for a moment. They’d lost Legion countless times already.
He trains every day, but why does he sneak out without anyone knowing?
“Ah, it would be nice if you went out together!”
If Master Mamon finds out, there will be another disaster.
Last time, they lost the lord and suffered tremendous torture from Master Mamon under the guise of special training. Of course, thanks to that, the average overall combat power of the group has already exceeded 150.
Among them, Bacon and Lotto’s skills are outstanding.
Over 200 overall combat power.
In other words, the two people who have done the most special training so far are the same. They vowed not to lose him today!
They lost Legion again.
The two quickly followed their lord and came down to the village.
And belatedly discovered the situation. The tavern door was badly broken, and the atmosphere was a mess. They immediately noticed that something had happened.
“Sob sob sob sob.”
Rose, the tavern owner’s daughter, was crying so much that her face was swollen.
Hita put her hand on Rose’s shoulder and comforted her.
“Don’t cry, Rose.”
“Sob sob, but… the lord… the lord… how could he do this to me….”
“…sigh, the lord was really bad this time. Why did he do that?”
Hita shook her head.
“I can never… forgive this.”
“But what are you going to do? The opponent is the lord.”
“But how can I stand being treated like that! I can’t stand it.”
Rose wiped away her tears and stood up.
Bacon and Lotto were horrified. Listening to Rose and Hita’s conversation, it seemed like the master had made a huge mistake.
For example, something sexual that you should never do to a woman.
Even if he is the master, he should not do such a thing.
How could he do this to that kind woman….
Wouldn’t the master die lonely amidst the territory people’s criticism?
“Sob sob sob, I can’t stand it. I can’t stand it.”
Rose screamed again.
Ah ah ah! This is a big problem.
It seems like the master has crossed the point of no return.
Bacon and Lotto swallowed hard. It seemed like they had to leave. It seemed like they had no choice but to meet the master in person and hear the whole story.
They were going to ask them where the master had gone, but they couldn’t bring themselves to talk to them.
“Who does he think he is! Who does he think he is! Telling me to go on a diet. Who does he think he is! Telling me I’m ugly! He should go on a diet himself. Why is he telling me what to do!”
Bacon and Lotto stopped at Rose’s cry.
What?
“He’s going to learn magic to change my face and fix my face first? He said I’m uglier than the goblins living in the Dusseldorf Mountains? I’m going to kill him! I don’t need a lord or anything!”
Bacon and Lotto looked at each other.
What the hell did the master say to that woman?
* * *
“Yes, I understand.”
Legion said, looking at Mizsett, who was trembling with frustration and fear. Mizsett barely swallowed her pain and looked at Legion.
What do you understand?
“With that face, it must have been difficult to make a living. You must have been teased by your friends since you were young. Your parents must have been ashamed of you.”
A question mark appeared in Mizsett’s head.
She looked around. Who is he talking about? But all her colleagues were collapsed and foaming at the mouth.
Paring’s face looked bigger than Haimo’s because of how much he had been beaten. It’s terrible how swollen a person’s face can get.
Anyway, she was the only one left.
What the lord was saying must have been referring to her. But *I* was bullied? My parents are ashamed of me? That never happened.
I lived a prosperous life and was very popular. I was smart, and everyone around me envied me.
What the hell is the lord talking about?
“You must have run away from home because you couldn’t stand being teased. And you must have wandered alone. You were very lucky to have learned magic from an old wizard. The reason why the old wizard taught you magic? Do I have to say it myself? Okay. I’ll tell you. The old wizard looked at you and judged that you wouldn’t be able to get married. He pitied you for dying alone and taught you magic. He told you to make a living on your own.”
Mizsett was dumbfounded.
She entered the Magic Tower by recommendation.
And she became a disciple of the quite famous 7th Circle Archmage Saibiman. Although she is currently blocked by the wall of the 3rd Circle, if she enters the 4th Circle, she will return to the Magic Tower and be recognized as the chief disciple of the Archmage Saibiman.
And how popular was she?
It was like that since she was young, and it was like that when she was in the Magic Tower.
Young nobles and rich people came to the Magic Tower to say even one word to her. She has received more than a hundred marriage proposals through her parents.
And I… learned magic to make a living and not starve to death?
Is this bastard crazy? What nonsense is he talking about?
“But you chose the wrong opponent.”
Legion approached Mizsett little by little.
“You fucking crazy bastard. What nonsense are you talking about.”
She gripped her staff tightly.
She wanted to burn that crazy bastard to death with magic right away. But how can I kill that pig?
Haimo and Buffalo, who were supposed to be doing close combat, were lying on the floor.
Steel, who plays the role of an assassin, was the same. Heiler couldn’t stand the fear and ran away, but he was stabbed by the magic sword he wielded and fainted.
He was beaten until he died while he was unconscious.
You can’t win with a fight.
“Huh, I see now.”
Mizsett snorted at Legion, who was approaching.
“What do you know?”
“You’re deliberately disparaging me….”
“Disparaging?”
Legion continued Mizsett’s words.
“You’re trying to seduce me when I’m in despair.”
“What?”
“Huh! You male bastards, that’s all you think about. Are you using the ‘You’re the first man to do this to me’ concept? You pig bastard! Keueok!”
Legion shook his wrist. Mizsett, who was hit, rolled away.
“What the hell is this ugly woman saying?”
Legion is an equalist.
