Swish.
Kim Il-soo’s fist sliced through the air.
Thwack!
Ugh!
Hyun-sung crumpled, clutching his jaw.
A moment before, Hyun-sung had stepped forward, ready to throw the first punch. Then, Kim Il-soo’s shoulder twitched, and before Hyun-sung could react, a fist was rocketing toward his face.
He was completely blindsided.
Kim Il-soo sneered.
“Trying to be slick, you little bastard?”
He’d been seen through. As expected, someone who knew how to fight was on a different level.
But Hyun-sung wasn’t about to back down.
He slowly pushed himself up from the floor. It felt like the inside of his cheeks had split, filling his mouth with a coppery taste.
“Kim Il-soo! You’re dead today!”
“Crazy bastard.”
Swish!
Kim Il-soo’s fist came fast again.
But this time, Hyun-sung was ready.
Swoosh.
He tried to dodge the blow. Or at least, he thought he did.
Thwack!
Kim Il-soo’s fist connected squarely with Hyun-sung’s left jaw again. Right on the same spot as before. The pain was excruciating.
Kim Il-soo chuckled, looking down at Hyun-sung, who was sprawled on the floor.
“You never learn, do you? Enjoyed your vacation, huh? I was bored without my little punching bag. That’s why I hate vacations.”
“You crazy so…”
He couldn’t even get the words out.
Thoo!
A mouthful of red blood splattered onto the floor.
Fighting and willpower were two different things, it seemed.
But something was off. He’d clearly seen Kim Il-soo’s fist coming. He’d even tilted his head to avoid it.
So how had he still been hit?
The important thing was that he *had* been hit. But Hyun-sung couldn’t afford to analyze the situation right now.
Clench!
Hyun-sung gritted his teeth.
If he went down here, he’d be right back where he started in his past life. He couldn’t let that happen. He had to take Kim Il-soo down, no matter what.
Absolutely!
Hyun-sung glared at Kim Il-soo.
‘That’s it!’
Something caught his eye.
The balls.
The universal weakness of all males on Earth.
Cowardly?
Bullshit.
Smirk!
A strange smile crept across Hyun-sung’s face.
“Laughing?”
Kim Il-soo was dumbfounded. The guy who’d been lying on the floor was now standing and grinning at him.
Thud!
Hyun-sung took a step forward.
Hehe!
Then he laughed again. Blood dribbled from his lips, but he didn’t care.
Right now, Hyun-sung’s only focus was Kim Il-soo’s dangling jewels.
He focused all his mental energy on his fingertips.
He only had one shot at this.
Thump.
Hyun-sung knelt on one knee in front of Kim Il-soo, as if offering himself up.
Kim Il-soo, watching the scene unfold, finally seemed to understand. He started to laugh.
“Haha… Kim Hyun-sung, have you finally come to your senses…”
Kim Il-soo’s words were cut short.
Swish!
Hyun-sung’s hand shot out in a straight line.
“You crazy… ugh!”
Kim Il-soo couldn’t speak. Even breathing was agony.
Hyun-sung, meanwhile, breathed a sigh of relief.
‘Got him!’
The moment he felt the weight of the testicles in his hand, he knew it was over.
Hyun-sung spoke to Kim Il-soo, who was gasping for air.
“Kim Il-soo, just say the word. I’ll turn you into a eunuch for life, you son of a bitch!”
Hyun-sung’s eyes burned with hatred. The usual Hyun-sung was nowhere to be seen.
He twisted his right hand slightly.
Kim Il-soo screamed.
“Aghhhhh… Hyu, Hyu…”
Hyun-sung stared directly into Kim Il-soo’s eyes, but they were already glazed over with pain.
Hyun-sung’s voice cut through the air again.
“You son of a bitch, you think this is fun? Do you have any idea how much pain you’ve caused? You piece of trash!”
The other students watched with bated breath. Some of them started to whisper.
“What’s going on?”
“Is that really Hyun-sung?”
“Why does he look like that?”
“Is Il-soo really going to end up a eunuch?”
They were shocked and disbelieving at Hyun-sung’s transformation.
As time passed, the memories of his past life became more vivid, and those memories were now channeled through Hyun-sung’s fingertips.
Squeeze!
“Burst, you son of a bitch!”
As Hyun-sung’s grip tightened, Kim Il-soo let out another scream of agony.
“Haaaaaa…”
Then, two figures started to approach Hyun-sung: Kim Il-soo’s lackeys, Park Cheol-min and Lee Soo-cheol.
Park Cheol-min spoke first.
“Kim Hyun-sung, what kind of cheap shot is this?”
“Cheap shot? Hey, Park Cheol-min, do you even have the right to talk? What have you guys done to our friends? How much have you trampled on them just because they’re weak? And you’re calling *me* cowardly?”
“Still, this isn’t right, you bastard.”
“Why? You guys can do it, but I can’t? What kind of bullshit is that?”
Hyun-sung tightened his grip as he spoke.
Then, a strange gurgling sound came from Kim Il-soo’s mouth.
“Ugh, ugh, ugh…”
His eyes rolled back in his head.
Flinch.
Park Cheol-min, who had been advancing, suddenly changed direction and bolted out the back door.
Hyun-sung glared at Kim Il-soo again.
“Kim Il-soo, don’t ruin any more lives. Let’s just end it here.”
“…”
Kim Il-soo didn’t respond or move.
“You son of a bitch, you can’t check out already. It’s not over yet. Is that all you’ve got?”
Hyun-sung had no choice but to release his grip.
Thud!
When Hyun-sung let go, Kim Il-soo collapsed to the ground. The other students just stared, speechless.
Hyun-sung looked down at the fallen Kim Il-soo.
*This isn’t enough for someone like him. If I stop here, it’ll all be for nothing. I have to cripple him so he can’t even look me in the eye again.*
Thud.
Hyun-sung moved toward the water kettle.
Pour.
He brought the kettle over and started pouring water on Kim Il-soo’s face. Kim Il-soo, who had been unconscious, barely stirred.
“Ugh…”
“Kim Il-soo, wake up. It’s not over yet. It’s just beginning!”
“S, stop…”
“Stop? Who says so? What have you done to us until now? You’re going to die by my hand today.”
Hyun-sung looked around and grabbed a chair. Kim Il-soo’s face went white as he watched.
“No!”
Lee Jung-woo blocked Hyun-sung’s path.
“Jung-woo, let’s kill this bastard today, so he can’t do anything stupid again.”
Instead of answering, Lee Jung-woo shook his head and grabbed the chair.
“No, Hyun-sung!”
Just as Lee Jung-woo finished speaking, the back door of the classroom burst open.
Bang!
“Kim Hyun-sung, freeze!”
It was their homeroom teacher, Shin Min-ho.
Huffing and puffing, Shin Min-ho rushed to Kim Il-soo’s side.
“Kim Il-soo, are you okay?”
“Ugh…”
Fortunately, he seemed to be alright.
Shin Min-ho breathed a sigh of relief.
He was already on the verge of a breakdown because of his mother’s health.
He wouldn’t know for sure until the test results came back, but he had a bad feeling. The doctor had warned him to prepare for the worst.
He couldn’t focus on his work and was constantly anxious.
Then, a few minutes ago, Park Cheol-min had burst into the faculty room, babbling about how Kim Hyun-sung was trying to kill Kim Il-soo.
At first, he thought he’d misheard.
It didn’t make any sense.
He knew roughly what was going on in the class, thanks to the class president.
But today’s incident was completely out of left field.
Just in case, he rushed over and found that Park Cheol-min’s story was true. He couldn’t understand it, but the scene spoke for itself.
Kim Il-soo lying on the floor, and Kim Hyun-sung about to smash him with a chair.
Shin Min-ho looked at Hyun-sung.
His face was still twisted with rage. He couldn’t understand what had happened, but that didn’t matter.
He knew, instinctively, that things had gone too far.
*Change.*
The atmosphere of the class would be different from now on.
He’d have to wait and see what happened, but first, he needed to sort out the immediate situation.
“Class president!”
“Yes, teacher.”
Lee Young-min approached Shin Min-ho, as if he’d been expecting the call.
“Get Kim Il-soo to the infirmary. Get the class ready for the next period. You know what to do if anything else happens, right?”
“Yes, teacher.”
Shin Min-ho turned to Hyun-sung.
“Follow me to the counseling room!”
With that, Shin Min-ho disappeared through the back door.
“Are you going to be okay?”
Lee Jung-woo asked Hyun-sung.
Hyun-sung nodded and followed Shin Min-ho.
It seemed like the situation was under control… for now.
Whack.
Then Hyun-sung came back.
“What’s wrong, Kim Hyun-sung?”
Lee Young-min blocked his path.
“Get out of the way, you little mutt.”
“What?”
“What, am I wrong? You’re the teacher’s pet anyway.”
Hyun-sung shoved Lee Young-min aside and approached Kim Il-soo.
Kim Il-soo, who was barely conscious, looked like his eyes were about to pop out of his head. He looked like he was staring at the Grim Reaper.
“Wh, what is it?”
“Scared, you little punk?”
“D, don’t come closer.”
Thwack!
Ugh!
“I have to hit you at least once, right? You little punk.”
With that, Hyun-sung walked out the back door.
