95. Like a Dream

Terun’s love was as fiery and passionate as a wild beast, yet he treated Leia’s body with reverence, like a musician playing a delicate instrument.

Leia adored his touch. Even the slightest brush of his fingertips sent shivers down her spine, like an electric current.

She yearned for him to love her deeply, and Terun never disappointed her desires.

Her heart fluttered with each kiss he placed on her body.

Then, like a wild beast playfully sharpening its teeth, he would gently nip at her skin and gaze at her.

“Do you still want to feed me corn?” [Referring to a previous intimate encounter or inside joke.]

“No! No, I don’t.”

Leia’s cuteness made him chuckle, and Terun raised his eyebrows, pretending to bite her harder.

Eventually, Leia relented, repeatedly turning her head and begging for his affection.

When Terun tried to tease her, Leia would slip her hands under his armpits and tickle his muscular back.

“You’re so sly.”

At first glance, it seemed as though Leia was trapped in Terun’s grasp, but the opposite was true.

Terun was stimulated by her every little action. Whenever she caressed his back like this or stuck her red tongue out between her parted lips, his patience immediately crumbled.

He was torn between feeling a sense of guilt and wanting to cherish her because she was so precious.

“How could I have forgotten your soft touch? Like a damn idiot.”

Even as he made love to her, Terun felt a pang of self-reproach. How dare he, a prisoner willingly trapped within her embrace, forget her?

‘I’ll etch you so deeply, so very deeply, into my soul that my body will never dare to forget you.’

Terun sighed. He shuddered at the thought of what tragedy might have befallen them if he hadn’t remembered the woman he loved so much.

“Terun, I love you so much.”

How beautiful Leia looked as she whispered those words, her face flushed red.

He wanted to keep this sight all to himself, and at the same time, he was overcome with the desire for this moment to last forever.

She tested him every time. Just as he struggled between reason and impulse, Leia had to be playfully punished as well.

Terun finally decided not to hold back.

“After all, the night is long, isn’t it?”

He would savor the ripe peach all night long. It wouldn’t be bad to slowly savor her body, tasting the sweetness that filled his senses.

And so, the two of them dyed each other’s deepest parts with love.

After their lovemaking, Leia gently stroked his body covering hers.

“It’s like a dream.”

“Huh?”

“I was afraid you’d forget me forever… Hng!”

His finger pressed gently against Leia’s lips. He hated to hear her say such painful things.

“I would have remembered you no matter what.”

“I thought it wouldn’t matter even if you didn’t remember me.”

That was quite unexpected. Terun was curious about her feelings.

“Why wouldn’t it matter?”

“Because I remember Terun. If you had forgotten me forever, I could just start over from there.”

“Where does that courage come from?”

“It’s not courage, it’s love. I was confident. Even if Terun didn’t remember me, I was sure I could make you fall in love with me again.”

Terun’s heart swelled at Leia’s words.

He had always thought that he loved her more and was always anxious, but he was wrong.

“Leia is right. Actually, even when I couldn’t remember you, my heart raced whenever I saw you.”

A strange feeling that his head didn’t know but his heart did. That was probably instinct.

“Terun, this will never happen, but if we ever have to be far apart…”

“That’s impossible.”

“I said, what if.”

Even the thought of it was unpleasant. It would never happen again.

“Will we be able to find each other?”

“I’m tired.”

Leia quickly covered herself with the blanket and turned away. Soon, the blanket she was covered with flew off the bed.

“Shall we begin?”

A ferocious beast with a sinister smile lusted after her.

Allen’s house was like a funeral home. Rivette cried every day, and there wasn’t a quiet moment.

Every newspaper was rushing to publish articles about the big twist in the Crown Princess selection.

No one had doubted Rivette’s selection, but the phrase that the heiress of a fallen noble family had captured the Crown Prince’s heart irritated Allen.

“Damn it! I should have learned more about the Emperor.”

Trusting only in Rivette’s beauty was the cause of his failure. This would cut off his path to becoming a member of the Imperial Family.

But it wasn’t as if there was no hope at all.

‘They said they’ll be selecting the Princess’s husband soon.’

The words came from the ministers of state, so there was enough basis for it. But the problem was that no one knew the reality of the Princess.
