Professor Jorzic was surprised for a moment. But he cared about his students, so he quickly understood why Lee Han was there.
“It’s because you have too much magical power,” Professor Jorzic said.
“Yes!” Lee Han’s face brightened.
Lee Han thought the situation was unusual and interesting, but he knew the professor was skilled.
“What about magical power absorption artifacts? It might seem strange for a wizard to use one, but…”
“I’ve tried everything, but they don’t work very well.”
“Then how about a flame absorption artifact?”
“Even if I increase the power a little, the artifact breaks. So, a real solution is…”
Professor Jorzic was surprised. He had heard rumors, but he didn’t know it was this bad.
‘The rumors didn’t even tell the whole story!’
“Is there really no way?” Lee Han asked, looking worried. Professor Jorzic shook his head.
It was almost insulting to ask that question to a wizard who would become the headmaster of Einrogard.
“Of course there is a way! A wizard’s wisdom is endless, and so are the solutions.”
“Ooh.”
Lee Han looked at the professor with hope.
Professor Jorzic was an expert in elemental magic, so Lee Han trusted him. Thirty minutes later, Professor Jorzic stroked his mustache, looking at the broken artifacts with a troubled expression.
“Um, I’m sorry,” Lee Han said.
“Don’t be sorry! Why should you be sorry for being an outstanding student? I’m happy to have a student like you!”
“Professor…!”
Lee Han thought, ‘I should help Jorzic become the headmaster of Einrogard.’
Wouldn’t it be better for the students if the headmaster of Einrogard was replaced quickly?
“There is one method left… Hmm. It’s a bit difficult, though,” Professor Jorzic said.
“It’s alright, Professor. I believe in you.”
“Thank you, Lee Han. Someone as talented as you should be able to do it!” Professor Jorzic had been thinking hard. He nodded, as if he had finally decided on something.
The students of the Blue Dragon Tower looked at Lee Han and whispered.
He looked like a fire spirit clinging to him.
Whoosh!
Flames burst from Lee Han’s body every few seconds.
“Everyone, don’t worry. I’m fine. For now,” Lee Han said.
“For now?” his friends asked, whispering even more. He didn’t seem fine. Gainan was trying to call Professor Garcia.
“Lee Han is going to burn to death!”
“I told you, I’m not going to die.” Lee Han grabbed Gainan and explained to his friends.
Professor Jorzic had taken out a difficult method after the fire elemental training artifacts were destroyed.
“-Using artifacts like the Five Forms of Bagni is to help you feel like you’re controlling the element.”
“-Indeed…”
“-So, even without those exercises or tools, if you can feel that control, you’ve reached the goal.”
“-But it’s hard even with exercises or tools. How is that possible?”
“-Are you familiar with contacting the element to increase your connection to it?”
“-Yes. Ah. Can I do that with fire too?”
“-No. You have too much magical power, so you can’t get used to it that way. We need something stronger.”
“-Manage the fireplace fire every day?”
“-No. It needs to be stronger!”
“-…?”
‘It was my mistake to trust the professor,’ Lee Han thought, looking down at himself with a bitter expression.
The magic that Professor Jorzic cast on Lee Han was Bagni’s Flame Bull.
This magic trapped the opponent inside a bull-shaped flame. It was different from lower-level magic that summons fire, transforms it, and fires it. It was cast directly on the opponent, making it more difficult.
Professor Jorzic didn’t cast this magic to attack Lee Han. He changed the magic in two ways.
First, he removed the flame’s damage and only left mental pain by using illusion magic.
Second, he gave Lee Han control over the magic, so Lee Han could control the Flame Bull magic himself and push away the flames.
Lee Han had to spend the weekend pushing away the flame magic on his body so it wouldn’t burn him.
If he lost control, even a little, the Flame Bull magic would hurt him.
“I never knew Professor Benmalfa was such a crazy person,” Lee Han said.
“My senior said he was a decent person!”
“I thought so too at first. But I’ve learned that you shouldn’t trust Einrogard professors,” Lee Han said with a bitter expression.
Professor Jorzic had no other choice but to use such an extreme method, but it felt the same as Professor Voladi’s method to Lee Han.
‘Is Professor Begrek’s method the normal method in the Empire?’ Lee Han shook his head.
It didn’t make sense.
“Still, it’s the weekend,” one of his friends said.
“That’s right. It’s finally the weekend!” his friends shouted to comfort him. They watched Lee Han’s expression, worried he might have weekend classes.
“I rest on the weekends too, so you don’t have to worry,” Lee Han said.
“Phew…!”
“Hey. What did I say? I told you he would rest on the weekends. Give me the silver coin!” Some students had made a bet and took the silver coin from their friend.
Lee Han stared with a disgruntled look, then called his friends.
“Everyone, I have something to tell you,” Lee Han said.
“!”
“Are you going to escape from the first week?”
“Or the warehouse?” his friends asked, gathering with anticipation.
Lee Han didn’t call them for that reason.
“I didn’t call you to escape or loot. A dangerous person has entered the school,” Lee Han said.
“The headmaster?”
“No. Not the headmaster… Or is it? Anyway, I should tell the seniors too.” Lee Han moved to the common lounge with his friends.
Fortunately, he saw familiar faces like Perse.
“Senior, I have something to tell you,” Lee Han said.
“What is it? Is it about Gyeokgu? Is Hormashi bothering you?” Perse asked, worried about Lee Han since they were in the same club.
Perse was still afraid of the headmaster, but Lee Han was a junior in the same tower and club.
If Hormashi was bothering him, Perse had to stop it.
“No. Hormashi just asked me to go to an unlimited match with him as a striker,” Lee Han said.
‘Isn’t that bothering him?’
It was a bit much to ask a second-year junior to go to an unlimited Gyeokgu match.
“Then what is it?” Perse asked.
“A dangerous person has entered the school,” Lee Han said.
“Are you talking about the headmaster?”
“…It’s not that,” Lee Han said.
Lee Han called the seniors and explained what he had experienced.
He told them about the skull headmaster’s doppelganger and the evil magic criminal. He wanted his friends to know in case of an emergency.
After listening, Perse shouted in surprise.
“What? That’s a big deal. Did he enter the main building?”
“No, he’s hiding in the outskirts of the territory,” Lee Han said.
“Ah. That’s a relief,” Perse said.
“?”
The other seniors sighed in relief.
“I thought he had taken a seat on the 7th floor,” one of them said.
“Well, we would know if he had taken a seat on the 7th floor.”
“Um, isn’t it dangerous even if he’s on the outskirts?” Gainan asked, confused.
The fact that there was a crazy doppelganger of the headmaster was scary.
“The outskirts of the territory are…” one of the seniors started.
“There are many monsters in Einrogard,” another senior finished.
If they reacted to every monster, they wouldn’t graduate.
Even if there was an ancient monster sealed in the school’s basement, the skull headmaster wouldn’t wait for their graduation research paper.
“Ah, no,” Gainan said.
“It’s the headmaster’s doppelganger!” one of the juniors exclaimed.
The juniors knew there were many monsters in Einrogard.
Giants and mountain-destroying sheep roamed the mountains, and forgotten monsters crawled up from the basement.
Sometimes, they would connect to other dimensions and those monsters would come out too!
But the headmaster’s doppelganger and the magic criminal were threats with intentions.
“Juniors, the headmaster’s doppelganger is less threatening than the headmaster,” one of the seniors said.
“This is a joke, but the headmaster knows about it, right? If it’s dangerous, he’ll move on his own. He’s thorough.”
“Sorry for telling you all this. But it’s easier to deal with the monster in front of you if you want to live in Einrogard. If you go hunting that monster, when will you graduate?”
The seniors were firm, even though they were sorry.
They were too busy to hunt monsters.
“I didn’t bring it up to hunt. I just wanted you to be careful,” Lee Han said.
“Thank you. But most of us stay near the 7th floor, so we’ll be fine. It might be dangerous for the first years,” one of the seniors said.
“What business would a first year have in the outskirts of the territory?”
Lee Han, who had been to the outskirts as a first year, closed his mouth.
‘Well, that’s true,’ he thought.
Listening to the seniors, he felt less worried.
There were probably more monsters in Einrogard that students didn’t encounter.
This doppelganger could be resolved over time, as the skull headmaster said.
‘I need to act calmly,’ Lee Han thought.
“Hey! The 7th floor is on fire!!!!” one of the seniors shouted, throwing off his cloak and running into the lounge.
The seniors screamed and ran to the 7th floor.
The fire on the 7th floor wasn’t that bad.
A salamander had escaped from its cage and blown away seven or eight buildings, but it was contained quickly.
“Isn’t this bad enough?” Lee Han asked.
“Eh. This is a good save,” one of the seniors said.
The second-year students looked tired and unimpressed by what the older students said.
Lee Han was puzzled when he saw students appearing from afar, even though the fire was already put out.
“Isn’t the work all finished?” Lee Han asked.
“Ah. Those are the stonemason club kids. The building burned down, so they came to repair it according to the contract,” one of the seniors said.
“You’re doing good work,” Lee Han said.
The stonemason club students stopped in front of a two-story magic workshop and argued with the students who came out. They waved their wands.
Rumble! Crash!
The second-year students were shocked to see the workshop collapsing.
“Why are you destroying it!?” one of them asked.
“The payment must have been late. That’s why you should never delay the stonemason club fees,” one of the seniors said.
