292. A Manly Mouth
October 21, 2023
Roxana was about to call Logan.
But she couldn’t get the attention of the people busily moving through the hallway of the guest rooms.
She quietly followed Logan, waiting for an opportunity.
As Roxana expected, Logan arrived in front of her guest room door.
Now it seemed safe to call Logan.
As she opened her mouth and approached Logan, she saw him checking a dagger hidden in the sleeve of his robe as he stood in front of the guest room door.
‘He came to kill me?!’
Roxana stopped walking and quickly hid behind the corner of the guest room again.
Hiding the dagger behind his back, Logan reached for the handle of the guest room door, as if he had changed his mind about knocking.
The guest room door opened easily, and Logan tilted his head slightly as he entered.
“Haa……”
Roxana let out a regretful breath.
She should have locked the door when she left the guest room earlier, but she hadn’t.
She was too preoccupied with the thought of going to see Falto quickly.
‘Nancy… Nancy is inside! What should I do…?’
Roxana’s heart pounded violently.
She repeatedly took steps forward and then back, but in the end, she couldn’t bring herself to take a single step toward the guest room where Nancy was.
Several minutes passed after Logan went inside.
Nancy’s scream leaked out from the guest room door.
The scream was short.
‘…It’s already too late.’
Even if she went in, she couldn’t save Nancy alone.
Roxana staggered, losing her sense of direction as she was swept away by the people, and went downstairs.
She didn’t know what excuse Logan had made to come with Hector’s army, but his reason for boarding this ship was clear.
He must have come to avenge Bonis.
‘Why is he suddenly turning a knife on me? Did the Master of the Magic Tower say something about Bonis’s affair?’
Roxana thought that someday Logan would find out about the atrocities she had committed against Bonis.
But she never expected Logan to appear and try to harm her in this situation.
In addition to the magic potion she had been drinking to lower the fever caused by the side effects of the red reagent, Roxana had also commissioned Logan to provide a potion to remove the burn scar on her right face caused by the fire in the Empress Palace’s dressing room, and she had been drinking it regularly.
After learning about her pregnancy for the first time, she sent a messenger bird to the Magic Tower, just in case, to ask about the potion’s side effects and precautions.
Fortunately, it did not contain any elements that would affect pregnant women.
“That’s really a relief, isn’t it?”
Roxana whispered, looking down at her belly.
It was a good thing she had hidden the fact of her pregnancy from Logan.
If Logan had known about her pregnancy, he would have definitely tampered with the potion she was taking.
She couldn’t help but be proud of her caution.
Now it was time to go to Falto and ask for her safety.

Me, the knights of the Lapel Empire, and even the Wyverns.
We were constantly eliminating the Galagos [monstrous creatures] that were rushing onto the deck, but we couldn’t save everyone.
Those nobles who did not follow Commander Macroom’s instructions to quickly go down to the guest rooms, insisted on acting alone, or fell on the deck after being pushed by people, became prey for the Galagos.
“Zelda, where is His Majesty!”
Prince Norton shouted at me after cutting down a Galago.
“He went to find Hector and Melanie, he’ll be here soon!”
I replied, instantly cutting off the head of a Galago that was eyeing the congratulatory delegation with the Hwaseon Sword [a magical sword with fire abilities].
While the majority of the congratulatory delegation took refuge below deck, Hector’s soldiers laid wooden planks between the two ships and escorted Emperor Adrian as if they were taking him to their ship.
“The conversation with Hector went well, right?”
Prince Norton asked, pointing to Emperor Adrian, who was moving behind me and boarding the ship with a sword.
“Yes. But there may be confusion, so it would be good for Hector to appear quickly and give orders to the soldiers again.”
“Hasn’t His Majesty found Hector yet? Could it be that we misunderstood Aoshi’s signal?”
“Prince Norton, don’t underestimate Aoshi too much. Rosie will be upset.”
“I’m still worried because she’s just a kitten.”
“Put your worries away. There, they’re here.”
I said, pointing to Linell and Bellos, who had jumped onto the deck, and waved my hand at him.
“Your Majesty! Did you find Hector and Melanie?”
I shouted, and
“Of course!”
He answered me, and without even looking up at the Galago descending towards him, he swung his sword in the air and cut it into exactly six pieces.
His swordsmanship was as soft and elegant as if he were dancing.
“Hector said he would take Melanie to the guest room and then come up. But what’s going on in the sky?”
Linell asked, looking up at the sky where fires were flashing.
“The Wyverns are gathering.”
Bellos said with a troubled expression.
I stared intently at Bellos’s face.
It was because I remembered what Roxana had said to me earlier.
Did Bellos really make a deal with Roxana?
Without Bellos in the Thebelo Empire, I wouldn’t have been able to make the magic potion or get rid of the evil energy.
And when I tried to return to the Lapel Empire, Bellos didn’t stop me.
Did something change in his mind in the meantime?
Should I ask after things are settled?
I had no choice but to save my words for now.
I turned my gaze away from Bellos and ran to Linell.
“I was worried.”
He placed his lips over mine as I spoke my worries.
His softness wrapped around me gently, as if to reassure me.
I was more conscious of kissing him publicly like this than revealing my fire ability to people.
But unlike me, Linell focused on the kiss as if we were the only ones on the deck.
As always, his focus on me was amazing.
“You’ve been through a lot, haven’t you?”
Linell looked down at my face and asked with affectionate eyes.
“Not at all. I was just enjoying moving my wrists for a while.”
I said, twirling the Hwaseon Sword dazzlingly.
“That’s a relief.”
His lips dug in more passionately this time.
“Isn’t that cold body trying to mate openly now, Moiyah~?”
I parted my lips from him at Moiyah’s sulky voice.
“Our Majesty, his mouth is manly and good, Moni~!”
Moni hated the sight of the Galago snake heads flicking their long tongues, so she pulled out all their tongues, but she praised Linell, saying that she would protect his tongue for the rest of her life.
“You’re the only one for me.”
Linell touched his manly mouth, as Moni said, and thanked her.
Then Moni closed her eyes and stuck out her lips at him, saying that she wanted him to repay her with his mouth.
“Oh my, how cute.”
But instead of Linell, Raphael, who was nearby, suddenly kissed Moni on the cheek.
“!”
Moni’s face turned like a rotten quince.
“Raphael will probably have his head burned and die today like the Galagos.”
Moiya worried about Raphael’s future.
“Where are you putting that ugly mouth on this great and cute baby Wyvern’s cheek? Spit, spit, spit!”
Even though Raphael didn’t kiss her on the mouth, Moni was disgusted and raged.
“I thought you only opened your zipper, but aren’t you opening your mouth recklessly too, Moni~?”
Moiya giggled, but stopped laughing when she saw Moni’s blazing eyes.
“Oh yeah, that’s right! Today, I’m going to take off your eyes, take off your lips that are talking nonsense, take off what’s inside your zipper, and take off everything attached to your body!”
Moni was very angry.
Raphael quickly hid behind Sharon’s back.
“What, what is it?”
Sharon frowned and looked back at Raphael.
“I won’t touch anyone who gives me sausage, so please protect me for a while, Sharon.”
Raphael slightly grabbed Sharon’s skirt and watched Moni, who was expressing her anger by spewing fire into the air.
Linell looked at Raphael pitifully, then smiled and looked back at my face and asked.
“Emperor Adrian.”
“He crossed over to the ship that Hector’s soldiers came on with his knights. On the surface, it looked like they were protecting Emperor Adrian?”
“Hector said earlier that he had ordered the soldiers to do so in advance. Don’t worry. They’re just pretending to protect him.”
“Ah, then is he already a fish caught in the net?”
“That’s right.”
I took the bow from Commander Macroom’s hand and shot an arrow at the Galago hovering over our heads.
The flying arrow hit the Galago’s head accurately.
“Master, let us play with them!”
Moiya said, holding one Galago’s head in each hand and tying them like ribbons.
“Ugh! It’s no fun because the master and humans are interfering, Moni~!”
Moni also grabbed the Galago’s head tightly in her hand and spun it around in the air, demanding.
The Galago’s screams rang out as if tearing our ears.
“Shut up! Where are you squealing when the great Wyvern is speaking!”
Moni scolded, hitting the Galago’s head she was holding.
The Galago, who couldn’t understand, cried even louder.
“Ugh, shut up!”
The sound of popping a wine cork was heard from somewhere in the night sky, and the Galago’s cry was not heard.
“It seems like we can leave the rest of the Galagos to those two. When Hector comes up, we’ll go deal with other beasts.”
Linell said, avoiding the Galago’s heads that Moiya and Moni were competitively dropping below the deck.

Falto ordered Emperor Adrian to board the ship that the soldiers from Tanya Island had come on and protect him.
He gave the instructions as Hector had ordered in advance.
Emperor Adrian would think that Hector’s soldiers were protecting him, but in reality, they were watching him.
Falto, who had returned to the Lapel Empire’s ship, went down to the guest room.
When he asked Emperor Adrian if he had met his lord three hours ago, he replied that he had only talked for a while and then parted ways.
Then Emperor Adrian added with a look of having forgotten something.
‘Ah, he said he was going to meet Empress Roxana?’
At that, Falto also searched for Roxana.
“Falto!”
“Your Majesty?”
The two people who had been searching for each other finally met.
Falto widened his eyes when he saw her in a servant’s attire while going down to Roxana’s guest room floor.
He would have just passed by if she hadn’t called his name.
Roxana asked Falto first.
“Did Hector’s army board as promised?”
“Yes. But Your Majesty, where is our lord?”
“……What?”
“I heard that the Great King went to meet Your Majesty.”
“Who said that? I haven’t seen Hector.”
Roxana said.
But Falto didn’t seem to believe her.
Roxana had a feeling.
“Did Emperor Adrian say that?”
“Yes.”
“What did that person say? Don’t tell me, he said I killed Hector?”
“……Did you?”
Falto slowly drew the sword he was wearing on his waist at Roxana’s attitude, which felt strange.
“There’s something you don’t know.”
“I don’t know everything, but I know all the important things. For example, the fact that the Empress fed our lord an obedience potion……”
“That’s…… true. I won’t deny it. But even so, what do you think is the reason Hector spared me?”
‘That was because he was planning to deal with you, including Emperor Adrian, all at once after this plan was over.’
Falto replied inwardly.
“I’m pregnant with Hector’s baby.”
“Wh, what are you talking about?!”
Roxana interrupted Falto, who was agitated, and continued sadly.
“Our Great King…… are you really saying he lost his life?”
It was a story that was hard to believe and hard to believe.
“This is all Emperor Adrian’s doing. I will definitely take revenge! To do that, I need your help.”
“I can’t believe it unless I see the body with my own eyes!”
“He might have thrown it into the sea, taking advantage of the commotion.”
Roxana said, forcing tears out.
It wasn’t just Emperor Adrian who was wary of Roxana.
Roxana was also preparing for a fallout with Emperor Adrian in case of an emergency.
She told him to get rid of Hector, but she didn’t fully trust Emperor Adrian, who had her weaknesses.
Nancy, her only confidant, died.
Now there was no one on this ship who could protect her.
She had to become stronger.
Since it was true that she was pregnant with Hector’s baby, she thought Falto would naturally trust her words more than Emperor Adrian’s.
“Falto, you have to protect me.”
Falto began to worry at Roxana’s words.
His lord was already dead.
There was his lord’s blood in Roxana’s belly.
The Galagos had already been released, and the soldiers had boarded the ship.
The last time he saw Hector, he was going to meet Emperor Adrian.
Falto, who knew that fact, couldn’t just ignore Roxana’s claim.
“Come with me.”
Falto took Roxana to a place where she could hide until he found Hector.
“Go inside here.”
It was the guest room where Hector had stayed.
“This will be the safest place right now.”
Since Hector was dead, there would be no one going in and out of his room.
“I’ll tell the soldiers to stand guard around here.”
“Falto, remember! You have to deal with Emperor Adrian after you finish the job.”
Roxana grabbed Falto’s arm as he turned around and urged him.
When Falto didn’t answer, she consciously stroked her belly and teared up.
“For Hector’s revenge. And for his baby that you will serve……”
Roxana’s words touched Falto’s loyalty, and he bit his lower lip tightly and nodded.
“Ah, and do you have a spare sword?”
“Here it is. Please be careful until the situation calms down.”
Falto took out the dagger he was wearing on his right leg and handed it to Roxana.
“Thank you.”
Roxana said to Falto and went inside the guest room, leaning against the door.
Tears flowed from the relief that she had avoided another crisis.
But a moment later, Roxana almost stopped breathing at the voice she heard from outside the guest room.
‘What should I do?!’
