#6.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have a name. Maybe I did, but I just couldn’t remember. When I opened my eyes, all I could see was grass.
“Well, I guess you wouldn’t have a name.”
Zerachiel casually mumbled, rolling me around. He seemed to be pondering what to name me.
Of course, with my belly full, I rolled quite well.
“Chew-ew-ew!”
I’m dizzy!
My vision spun.
How could you feed me so much and then roll me around! You weasel abuser!
I barely managed to grab his finger and held on for dear life.
“Chee!”
Stop it!
At that moment, Zerachiel grabbed me and lifted me up. Then, holding me, he flopped onto the bed.
In an instant, the spinning stopped, and Zerachiel filled my vision. He grinned lazily. When he smiled, he looked utterly harmless.
“Okay. Chee Chee sounds good.”
“?!”
“Because you keep saying ‘Chee Chee’.”
Seriously, who names someone so carelessly?
Besides, I wasn’t just any weasel; I was a weasel beast-man. Even though I hadn’t succeeded in transforming into a human, I might someday!
“Chew-ew-ew!”
I hate it! That kind of name!
I was about to unleash a fiery kick to Zerachiel’s face when I noticed him blushing and flinched.
Don’t enjoy being hit!
I lost the will to strike and stared at Zerachiel with hazy eyes.
“You’re looking at me like I’m a bug.”
“Chee…”
I was about to say, ‘If you retract that awful name Chee Chee right now, I, in my generous weasel beast-man heart, will forgive you,’ when Zerachiel suddenly covered his cheek with one hand and muttered quietly, as if he had misinterpreted my angry gaze.
“It’s kind of exciting when you look at me like that.”
Hey, I’m glaring at you.
The shy voice sounded like a girl in love for the first time. But the content was far from beautiful.
“It would be even better if you stepped on me.”
He even brought his face closer, as if he meant it.
He’s really weird….
I think I’ve gotten myself into something terrible!
That day, I confirmed that Zerachiel Rune Zavisi was not in his right mind.

In the early morning hours, when Chee Chee was exhausted and asleep, Zerachiel stared intently at the sleeping weasel beast-man, even using his toes to poke him.
His eyes were quite cold, unlike the cheerful demeanor he had during the day. He stared at the finger Chee Chee had bitten and fell into thought.
The Chee Chee who had appeared before him was quite an interesting subject.
Plump white fur, pink eyes, and a fearless, yappy personality.
Moreover, the faint pheromone, as small as a rat’s tail, had an unknown ability.
One thing was certain: his pheromones didn’t work on him. Rather, it was a strange pheromone that seemed to devour his own.
Zerachiel’s pheromone was of the enchantment type, considered the strongest among the Black Lion Zavisi family.
The power to paralyze and bite the opponent. It was a pheromone that belonged to the very top of the beast-type pheromones.
Normally, a beast-man affected by his pheromones would either become listless or sleep all day. Yet, a weasel beast-man who hadn’t even undergone human transformation was not only detoxifying it in less than an hour but also running around lively.
Perhaps, as Ivan said, he was a spy sent by the Page family.
“Sarvan, maybe? Or Flunia?”
For a while, the names of the weasel families he knew echoed like a lullaby in the quiet bedroom.
But that was it. Zerachiel wasn’t one to simply let go of such a fascinating beast-man who had rolled in on his own.
First, he needed to satisfy his curiosity. If it turned out he was a spy later, he could just eat him.
He poked Chee Chee’s cheek and muttered darkly.
“He doesn’t look tasty, but I’ll keep him around for now.”
He nonchalantly uttered words that would have made Chee Chee faint and then closed his eyes.

“Chee Chee-nim!”
I ran down the hallway, ignoring Ayla’s call. After the first day, Ayla volunteered to be my protector while Zerachiel was away.
She was a lion beast-man who sometimes looked at me like a hungry person eyeing their fist, but she was more normal than Ivan or Zerachiel.
Of course, that didn’t mean I was entirely happy with life here.
It had already been a week since I had been living with the Zavisi family. Every night, I was subjected to torture, or something like it, by the wicked Zerachiel.
‘He’s definitely trying to fatten me up to eat me!’
Otherwise, he wouldn’t feed me until I was about to burst and then immediately roll me around on the bed, saying he was going to make me exercise!
The feeling of being rolled around when I hadn’t even digested my food was truly awful.
I’d rather run on a hamster wheel. Being rolled around this way and that by Zerachiel was really painful.
I retract my past naive thought that he was like an angel as long as he didn’t open his mouth. Zerachiel Rune Zavisi is definitely the incarnation of a demon.
‘My side still feels sore. I can’t live like this!’
“Chew-ew-ew-ew!”
The plaintive weasel cry echoed loudly down the hallway.
I pressed down on my aching side and crossed the hallway. I couldn’t live like this anymore. It would be better to roll around in a field of grass.
Like a frog that doesn’t remember being a tadpole, I forgot the harsh winter I had experienced and was only intent on escaping from Zerachiel.
I was running away from Ayla’s sight when someone turning the corner nearly stepped on me and recoiled.
However, I couldn’t prevent myself from bumping into the person’s leg.
“Chew!”
Having been running at full speed, I was knocked backward by the impact. I almost ended my weasel life by being crushed by a beast-man.
I clutched my pounding heart and looked up at the person who had almost stepped on me. He frowned and tilted his head.
“A white weasel?”
What is this, a one-bite snack? That was the tone of his voice. He was a man with a cool impression, so much so that he could easily be Zerachiel’s adult version.
‘Who, who is he?’
I had never seen this man, even though I had been roaming the castle for a week.
The man frowned at me. The dark circles under his eyes made him look sickly, as if he would collapse if touched.
‘Is he Zerachiel’s family?’
I was about to have an unexpected staring contest with the man when Ayla, who had belatedly followed, discovered the man and greeted him.
“Zakari-nim.”
“Ayla, what is this white bean? Who told you to bring such a smelly creature into my castle?”
What? White bean? Smelly?!
I was flustered by being insulted to my face and widened my eyes. But I burst into tears and stretched out my arms to Ayla, intimidated by the man’s cold aura.
“Chew, chew!”
Ah, Ayla, hold me, I’m scared of that person!
As I cried, Ayla belatedly picked me up. Then, she stroked my back as if to soothe my surprised self and said,
“Chee Chee-nim is Zerachiel-nim’s pet.”
“Pet?”
“Yes. He has been raising him while the master is away.”
“To think he’s now bringing even weasels into my castle. That foolish fellow.”
Zakari frowned and muttered at the words that I was Zerachiel’s pet.
Meanwhile, I was surprised to hear that he was the head of the family.
‘If he’s the head of the family, is he Zerachiel’s father?’
In the original story, the head of the Zavisi family was Zerachiel. I remembered him because he was portrayed as a young leader on par with Heathcliff, the successor of Page.
Come to think of it, I haven’t seen any direct family members other than Zerachiel in this house.
In the original story, only his mother appeared, so I thought he didn’t have a father.
‘Could he have died of illness?’
Now that I looked at Zakari in front of me, he looked like he could die at any moment. He looked similar to how Zerachiel was described in the original story.
If the current Zerachiel is like a scheming, crazy psycho, the man in front of me is like a sickly, decadent psycho.
Both were villainous families in that there was madness in their eyes.
Is this the combination of a madman with clear eyes and a madman with cloudy eyes? What’s certain is that neither of them seemed to be in their right mind.
Zakari tilted his head as if he sensed my gaze.
“Your eyes are impure.”
