Clash! Sepia vs. Forse 1
Marquis Forse was bewildered.
It was like a gathering of fanatics lost in some heretical cult.
Distracted, noisy, full of screams… Was this really considered dancing?
He had only ever witnessed the elegant twirling at royal balls.
That was the typical atmosphere of noble parties.
He didn’t particularly care for that pretentious and dignified atmosphere, so he rarely attended parties or balls.
Balls were, ostensibly, a place for socializing.
If he wasn’t interested in an arranged marriage, he would have to marry for love. But since he avoided balls, no matchmakers approached Marquis Forse, despite his high social standing.
Consequently, he was still single.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t get used to this.”
Marquis Forse stepped back.
Squish!
He stepped on something, or rather, someone’s foot. Being a marquis, he didn’t feel obligated to apologize.
He turned away.
The one whose foot he stepped on was Sepia.
Sepia had just returned from smoothly resolving the issue with the nobles incorporated into Alexander’s territory.
Eight families in total.
They had all knelt, weeping, and signed the contracts.
He hadn’t killed a single one of them, yet they were crying profusely.
All he and the Ogre Knights had done was apprehend those who charged at them, strip off their armor and clothes, wash them with water, and then… well, the ogres sucked on them. They couldn’t use soap due to the lingering scent, so the ogres washed them with clean water only, to savor the natural human taste.
It was somewhat regrettable, but…
Once they got used to it, it had a unique flavor.
Simply putting them in their mouths and chewing extracted a deep taste from their stiff bodies.
The ogres found it a satisfying substitute.
That’s how they completed their task and returned.
Sepia heard that the Wyvern World would also include an Orc village.
The orcs, upon hearing this, held a festival. They had been worried about being excluded.
Amazoness urgently contacted Legion to arrange a meeting, but Legion flatly refused. Amazoness was slightly hurt, but Mark had blocked the request in auto mode, fearing she would develop feelings for him.
Regardless, the next day, the Orc village was included, and everyone returned to a festive mood.
So, Sepia decided to attend the party for the first time in a while.
But!
Some rude bastard stepped on his foot and kept walking. He let it go once, but the same bastard stepped on him again without apologizing.
It wasn’t that being stepped on by a human hurt, but the lack of courtesy was infuriating. Especially in the Amazon Orc village, where etiquette was highly valued, this was unacceptable.
He didn’t know who it was, but they clearly had a death wish.
He tried to grab him, but remembered he was missing his left arm. *Ah, this bastard is disabled. Should I let it go?* He thought. *Come to think of it, I already let it go once.*
And!
Disability was irrelevant!
The lack of an apology was a separate matter!
*I am fair. Even if you don’t have a left arm, I treat you the same as those with two arms.*
-Grrr (Human, stop there).
Sepia called out to Marquis Forse.
Marquis Forse stopped. An incredibly rough voice cut through the deafening music.
Even more surprising was the explosively rising murderous intent.
Even though his body hadn’t fully recovered, Marquis Forse was a 7-star knight.
A so-called Sword Master.
He was also one who had broken the limits of humanity.
Marquis Forse, who came from a humble background, had never hesitated to do whatever it took to reach his current position. His hands were stained with blood.
Of course-
He was highly sensitive to murderous intent.
Gulp.
He had faced countless enemies, but he had never sensed such intense murderous intent. It felt like a giant tiger was staring directly at him from behind.
In terms of murderous intent alone, this was the strongest he had ever encountered.
Even if his magic power was weaker, Marquis Forse knew from experience that such an opponent would be formidable.
*Was he calling me?*
*It couldn’t be.*
*I don’t know anyone here, no, any Aein [a member of the Aenlong race]. I can’t believe I’m in such a bizarre place.*
-Grrr (Hey, you, one-arm).
One-arm.
*Yes, that’s me.*
That sound was directed at him.
It felt a bit refreshing, yet also unpleasant. He was already annoyed, and now someone was digging into his wounds!
A strange feeling washed over him.
The sound he heard was clearly an animal’s, yet he understood its meaning. *Could it be that my brain was damaged by the Bone Dragon’s breath? It doesn’t make sense to understand the sound of such a beast.*
Still, he could tell that the powerful murderous intent was directed at him.
Marquis Forse slowly turned around.
A huge ogre stood before him.
-Grrr (Apologize, human).
“Apologize?”
-Grrr (Yes, apologize).
“Why should I apologize to you?”
Marquis Forse asked politely, though he was dumbfounded. Talking to an ogre like this! He never imagined he would have such an experience.
Instantly, the ogre’s murderous intent, which had been spreading in all directions, focused on him.
The ogre was by no means an easy opponent. Its skin was so thick that even a mana blade couldn’t easily penetrate it.
To defeat it swiftly, aura [a type of energy] was essential.
The best way to deal with an ogre was to sever its head before it could assume a fighting stance. Forse knew this well.
Marquis Forse reached for the sword he always carried.
Ah, he had left it in the barracks.
-Grrr (Look at this rude bastard. You stepped on my foot).
Sepia’s murderous intent intensified.
His murderous aura permeated the plaza.
The movements of the men who had married into the Amazon Orc warrior village and the Aein ceased. They looked at Sepia with slightly frightened eyes.
No one present could stop Sepia. The only being with comparable combat power was a wyvern named Nubyeo Nubyeo.
But they couldn’t ask him for help.
Because they were all equally troublesome.
As soon as there were signs of a fight, Nubyeo Nubyeo started betting with Bibyeo Bibyeo on who would win.
Jonas rushed over and grabbed Marquis Forse’s arm.
“Don’t do it. You’ll get hurt.”
“Get hurt? Who? Me?”
“Yes, do you know who you’re dealing with?”
*It’s an ogre. Why an ogre?* Marquis Forse just blinked.
“It’s Sepia.”
“Sepia? What’s that?”
“That ogre! The strongest ogre in Dusseldorf!”
“The strongest in Dusseldorf?”
“That’s right! So, apologize quickly and come this way. No one can stop Sepia when he’s angry!”
Marquis Forse shook his head.
Hearing her words made it even harder to back down. He felt diminished, as if everything he had achieved had vanished like dust.
“Hurry!”
Jonas shouted even more desperately.
Nubyeo Nubyeo and Bibyeo Bibyeo started betting on whether Forse would back down. Before he knew it, many Aein were joining in.
Surprisingly, few were betting on Forse.
And-
“It’s not a matter of pride. If you become candy [a euphemism for being easily defeated], your pride and personality will disappear.”
“Candy?”
“There’s such a thing. Now is not the time to worry about pride. Pride won’t save your life.”
These words struck Forse’s last vestige of pride.
“I’m sorry, but… all I have left is ‘pride.’ If even that disappears… what would I live for? I’m sorry.”
Marquis Forse stepped forward.
-Grrr (Oh, you)!
“Did I step on your foot?”
-Grrr (Yes, you did. If you’re human, you’ll know. When someone steps on your foot, it hurts, but it also feels really bad. But the other person pretends not to notice and walks away. How many people can tolerate that?).
“If I apologize, will you let me go?”
-Grrr (You’re making me beg for it. You could have just apologized. I’ve changed my mind. Kneel down and apologize while crying. Then I’ll accept it).
“What if I don’t want to?”
-Grrr (If you don’t want to, get married. You son of a bitch).
Sepia advanced.
“Aaaagh!”
“Ba, back away! Sepia-nim is pissed!”
“Aish, damn it, I was just getting into the mood. Who the hell is it? Who touched Sepia-nim’s temper? Are they crazy?”
“I don’t know. A man I’ve never seen before. Huh. He’s one-armed. Has anyone among our village people ever seen a one-armed man? No? Who the hell is he? That man?”
Noisy voices arose.
But no one attempted to stop Sepia.
Even if Dreiser, considered the strongest warrior in the territory, arrived, he couldn’t stop Sepia.
The only person who could stop Sepia was his master, Legion.
-Grrr (I’m warning you. If you get hit by this fist, you’ll die. Your head will be smashed like a watermelon. You won’t even have time to regret it. Why? Because you won’t have a head to regret with. So, kneel down quietly).
Sepia held out a fist that dwarfed Forse’s head.
“It hurts my mouth. I don’t want to say it twice.”
Marquis Forse channeled mana from his dantian [an energy center in the body].
Mana flowed through his heart and instantly transformed into magic power. A faint magical defense enveloped his body.
The people and Aein enjoying the club in the Orc village looked surprised.
There were few unskilled individuals present.
Even the men who had forcibly (?) married into the village were powerful figures in their own right.
The Orc female warriors were, needless to say, formidable.
Even to them, the magic power emanating from Marquis Forse was immense, far surpassing their own.
It was a much higher level of magic power than Bacon, who was said to be the strongest servant in the territory.
Jonas was also surprised.
Her ideal type was a strong warrior, or at least someone who looked strong. She used to be close to Dreiser, who was a good guy.
But Dreiser still couldn’t forget his old girlfriend.
*Bad bastard.*
Jonas gave up on Dreiser.
Men like that always caused trouble. Her mother had warned her not to date men who reminisced about the past with sad eyes.
And she had finally found a man she liked (?).
There was a bit of an age difference, but he wasn’t wearing a ring, so he was a bachelor.
*What if he was an old bachelor?*
*As long as I like him. I’ll make him fall for my charm today,* she resolved.
Things were taking an unexpected turn.
Moreover, she hadn’t realized he was so strong.
“Who the hell… are you?”
Marquis Forse didn’t answer.
“Haaaap!”
-Kwaaaaaa (Arrogant human)!
Marquis Forse and Sepia collided head-on.
Kwaaaaaa!
The collision of magic power created powerful shockwaves that spread in all directions.
* * *
-Keokeokeong (Hyungaaaaaa) [Brother]!
-Keokeokeokeokeong (Hyung, hyung, hyung)!
Legion, who was sleeping, was startled awake by the tremendous noise. He recognized the voice. Sepia was shattering his peaceful dawn.
His voice was so loud it was like someone screaming “Uwaaaaak!” right in his ear.
He thought his eardrums would burst.
“Ah, geez, what’s with this sudden disaster?”
Annoyed, Legion opened the window and looked outside the mansion.
It was incredibly noisy, but no one came out to investigate.
The exclusive servants opened their windows slightly in their quarters, glanced at Sepia, and quickly closed them.
*Those bastards, they don’t want to get involved. I saw it all.*
“Why are you doing this at dawn?”
Legion rubbed his eyes and asked Sepia.
*Hey, why does his face look like that?*
Sepia’s face was covered in blue bruises.
-Grrr (Hyung)!
“Yeah. Your hyung is here.”
-Grrr (Hyung is on my side, right)?
“That’s obvious. So, why?”
-Grrr (I’m wronged).
“What?”
-Grrr (I got hit by some bastard).
“Huh? Who? You? No, why?”
Legion looked at Sepia, dumbfounded.
Was there anyone in the territory who could beat up Sepia?
There was, but Sepia had just said ‘some bastard.’ If it was Dreiser, he would have said, ‘That bastard Dreiser hit me.’
-Grrr (I don’t know. He stepped on my foot twice, so I told him to apologize…).
“Told him to?”
-Grrr (He suddenly threw a fist and made me look like this. Hyung, I’m really wronged).
Hearing Sepia’s words, Legion suddenly felt a surge of anger.
“What bastard! What bastard dares to hit my brother!”
