888 크루 멤버들은 유독 상현에게 후렴구를 맡기는 걸 좋아했다. 왜냐하면 상현이 후렴을 부르면 어지간히 난해하게 쓰인 가사가 아니면 관객들이 두 번째부터 따라 부르기 때문이었다. [The 888 Crew members especially liked entrusting the chorus to Sanghyun. 이 같은 888 크루의 굉장한 창작 텐션의 주된 원인은 멤버들 간에 깔려있는 리스펙트와 경쟁의식이었다. 상대방을 깎아내리지 않으면서 상대방과의 경쟁에서 이기는 방법은 오직 하나, 내가 더욱 성장하는 것뿐이었으니까. 힙합 더 바이브 2 에피소드 1의 첫 흥행요소는 누가 뭐래도 크로우칭 라이터가 삽입된 예고편이었다. 오피셜 부틀렉의 대중적인 성공을 이끌어 낸 것 역시 크로우칭 라이터의 역할이 컸었다.
