After learning swordsmanship, I had lunch with Olivia.
I had a lot of work to do in the afternoon as well. I had a meeting scheduled with Vikan, but I asked for his understanding and headed back to the training grounds.
“It’s not good to overdo your training.”
I smiled at Olivia’s advice.
“It’s not just training. While training this morning, I felt that Sylphid was different from usual. As I practiced spirit swordsmanship, my understanding of spirits deepened, and through my expedition to the East, I felt closer to the spirits.”
“Your Highness, could it be?”
“That’s right. I’m trying to expand my mana hole to become a Supreme Spirit Master. It doesn’t matter if I fail.”
Olivia closed her mouth to help me concentrate.
I took a breath.
‘If the size of my mana hole increases, I can become a Supreme Spirit Master. I can now feel the essence of spirits even closer. If the size of my mana hole increases rapidly, one of the spirits I have a contract with will definitely become a Supreme Spirit.’
I sat in the middle of the training ground and focused on the Breath of Wind. The mana hole is now so deep and wide that it’s impossible to fathom.
The mana filling the mana hole began to flow through my meridians following the Breath of Wind.
Whooooosh-!
As I concentrated and used the Breath of Wind, the flow of mana became even faster.
‘The blocked area is near my head. If I can break through this area, the passage through which mana can flow will widen. If the passage through which mana flows widens, I can break the existing mana hole and create a new mana hole with a strong flow of mana.’
The mana hole doesn’t expand like a rubber band stretching; it’s about destroying the existing mana hole and then creating a larger mana hole.
When the mana hole was small, the process of destruction and creation wasn’t that painful, but when I went from an Intermediate Spirit Master to an Advanced Spirit Master, destroying and recreating the mana hole was accompanied by tremendous pain.
‘But the joy of creation that comes after the pain is so rewarding that it cannot be compared to anything else.’
I bit my lip tightly.
Because every time the huge flow of mana collided with the blocked wall near my head, it caused me a little pain.
I continued to send the mana from the mana hole along my meridians.
Whooooosh-!
My body seemed to be twisting, but I endured the pain and intensified the flow of mana even more.
Kwaaaang-! Kwaaaang-!
It felt like someone was hitting my head with a hammer. I felt like my mind was flying away for a moment with the tremendous pain, but I desperately concentrated.
Kwaaaang-! Kwaaaang-!
The wall near my head slowly cracked.
As the mana began to flow through the cracks, I felt my mind fading again.
‘No way.’
I bit my lip until it bled.
Kwaaaaaang-!
The wall finally collapsed, and I felt my soul being pulled up into the sky.
It was a very mysterious experience, as if time had stopped.
Whooooosh-!
I wasn’t captivated by the mysterious feeling, and now I controlled the flow of mana flowing through my body with the Breath of Wind and contained it in the mana hole.
The external mana absorbed through breathing met the mana in my body, and the mana hole was filled to overflowing.
Crack-!
The process of tearing the mana hole began.
Pain accompanied it once again, but it was much less severe than breaking through the wall near my head.
The mana hole was completely destroyed, and a new mana hole began to form.
How much time had passed?
When I opened my eyes after the creation of the new mana hole was complete, the sun was already setting beyond the training grounds.
“Your Highness, congratulations.”
At Olivia’s voice, I realized that the whole process was over.
“More refreshing than I thought…”
The mana hole usually doubles or quadruples in size after the destruction and creation process.
But now it was at least ten times bigger.
Just based on the feeling, it seemed like I could use the skills of four Advanced Spirits all day long.
Now the final process remained.
I summoned the four Advanced Spirits I had a contract with at the same time.
Elime appeared first, followed by Ignis and Kleiman.
“I knew it.”
Ignis had a dissatisfied expression.
“Congratulations. My Lord of the Covenant, you have finally entered the great path.”
Elime said with her usual warm smile.
Kleiman silently shook my hand, true to his personality, but his hand was so big that I ended up clinging to him.
A breeze blew.
The wind brushing against my cheek felt fresher than ever, and the flow of mana escaping from the mana hole was refreshing.
Silwolfen, or rather, Sylphid, the wolf, had become even larger, and the fur made of wind had become much longer.
-System is being updated.
-The Primordial Covenant is unlocked.
-The title has been changed from Advanced Spirit Master to Supreme Spirit Master Beginner.
-The Companion of the Wind is unlocked.

The system sent me many notifications, but I only focused on Sylphid.
“Should we celebrate together?”
Sylphid smiled and replied to my words.
“Thanks to my Lord of the Covenant, I have become a Supreme Spirit with the qualities of a king.”
“It’s all thanks to everyone.”
Ignis interjected.
“It’s still a long way to go. I want to become an Ifrit too.”
Elime replied.
“In the history of the Spirit Realm, there has never been a Spirit Master who has contracted with Supreme Spirits of more than two attributes. But I believe that my Lord of the Covenant is capable enough. I’ve been Elime for quite a while now. Unless there’s a special opportunity, I’ll probably stay that way.”
Even Elime subtly revealed her desire to become a Supreme Spirit, so I promised.
“I’ll keep trying.”
I asked one thing I was curious about.
“By the way, if Sylphid has become a Supreme Spirit, what happened to the existing Supreme Spirit?”
Elime answered my question.
“Supreme Spirits are rare even in the Spirit Realm, but there is not only one entity. There are several Supreme Spirits, and one of them becomes the king. Sylphid has become a Supreme Spirit and is under contract with my Lord of the Covenant, so he is likely to be the next in line for the throne.”
* * *
There was one surprising thing about becoming a Supreme Spirit Master.
Not only did Silwolfen become Sylphid, but all the existing Wind Spirits I had a contract with grew by one stage.
Sylph became Sylphere, and Sylphere became Silwolfen.
Even Elime didn’t expect that.
I achieved the feat of contracting with two Advanced Spirits of one attribute for the first time in the history of the Spirit Realm.
Five existing Sylphs became Sylphere, and two Sylphere became Silwolfen, naturally contracting with two Wind Advanced Spirits, Silwolfen.
And by contracting with five additional Sylphs, the number of spirits I contracted with greatly increased.
For Wind Spirits alone, there were five Sylphs, five Sylpheres, two Silwolfens, and even Sylphid.
‘I’ve become much stronger.’
At dinner, everyone celebrated my achievement.
My name was not only recorded in the history of the Spirit Realm but also newly engraved in the history of the Spirit Masters of the continent.
In particular, Soris, who was also a Spirit Master, was constantly amazed beyond surprise.
“You are truly amazing, Your Highness.”
“Soris, I think you’ve said that over a hundred times already.”
“Still, it’s amazing. When this fact spreads throughout the continent, hidden Spirit Masters will flock to you like clouds.”
At Soris’s words, I widened my eyes.
“Hidden Spirit Masters?”
“Yes. There aren’t many Spirit Masters on the continent, but if you gather them all, the number will be quite large. Most of them are wandering Spirit Masters, but the achievement you have made is an enormous achievement that has never existed in the past and will not exist in the future. Everyone will flock to you to see you even once, to hear even a word of advice.”
One thought flashed through my mind.
“Vikan.”
Vikan was also at the dinner, but he was refraining from speaking.
It seemed that Vikan was quite burdened since it was a gathering of only my subordinates.
Still, he was not intimidated, as befitting a merchant who wanted to build a large merchant guild.
At my call, Vikan came forward.
“Yes, Your Highness.”
“I was going to be quiet to become a humble Crown Prince because it seems like I’m bragging about my achievements, but if Spirit Masters gather, it will be a great help to me. I would appreciate it if you could spread the rumors appropriately from the merchant guild’s perspective.”
Vikan smiled softly.
“The Vikan Merchant Guild will spread throughout the continent. We will spread the rumors through the merchants.”
Soris for administration, Gail for the Knights, Lillian for the Magic Corps, Hamilton for the information organization, and Ken for the military organization.
And the dream of creating a Spirit Master organization that does not yet exist in the Kingdom Union or the Empire swelled.
“Now, let’s finish celebrating me appropriately. The reason I called Vikan to this place today is because of the West. The issue of the capital of the Pyreon Kingdom should be proceeded slowly, starting with determining the place name first, and it’s time to develop the West in earnest.”
If the capital of the Pyreon Kingdom is my direct territory, then the West is the power base of the nobles who support me.
Both places will be my foundation, so I cannot neglect either one.
I asked Vikan again.
“Is the preparation for the distribution of purification water coming to an end?”
“Yes. Rumors have already spread widely among the nobles of the Empire. We are deliberately preparing the amount to be supplied to the people first, so the nobles will be anxious.”
“Good. Money will start circulating in the West. What about the monster distribution?”
It’s a bit strange to say monster distribution, but there was no other word to replace it.
The profits from monster hunting, such as monster corpses and blood, are considerable.
Most of them are handled by wizards, but some monsters are effective in treating various diseases and are helpful in farming.
There is no need to worry about the monsters in the Dark Forest running out, so the amount depends on the West’s control.
“The nobles of the West have joined forces and started preparing for monster hunting. More preparation seems to be needed to ensure a stable supply. After all, monster hunting is dangerous.”
I nodded.
“Provide them with immediate support if they need anything. The Vikan Merchant Guild has benefited greatly from this war, right?”
“If you look at the war itself, there is no great benefit, but the number of potential customers has exploded. And because Your Highness is fully supporting us, our influence in the center has also increased.”
I smiled bitterly at Vikan’s honest answer.
“If my influence decreases, will the influence of the Vikan Merchant Guild also decrease?”
“The merchant guild is inevitably affected by the influence of the nobles or royals who are sponsoring it.”
“Tell me immediately if you need anything. Report through Soris, and I will review it and give you an answer. Is it possible to be among the top three merchant guilds?”
“It is definitely possible if time passes like this. There are a few problems, but those are the points that the merchant guild must overcome with its capabilities.”
I picked up a glass of wine.
“Good. Many things are being resolved. But we must not be careless. I caused so many accidents when I was young.”
Gail smiled faintly at my words.
“The past is the past. Now, all that’s left is to move forward.”
Becoming a Supreme Spirit Master was like a starting point for me.
Until now, I struggled to survive.
One day, I suddenly became Arun Karl Leonhardt, and there were many things I had to do to survive as a Crown Prince in an unfamiliar empire.
And from now on, it was different.
Now I didn’t doubt the position of Crown Prince and survival.
‘From now on. Until I, as Arun Karl Leonhardt, become the master of this empire. From Karen, who went to the Kingdom Union, to protect this place that will become my empire, and the steps for a solid empire that is not swayed by secret organizations.’
As I raised my glass high, everyone stood up and raised their glasses.
