The musicians played, filling the wedding hall with music and creating a wonderful atmosphere for the ceremony. Important guests began to arrive.
Sejun sat surrounded by Umawang, Urchi, and other animals, examining a black orb that Theo had given him.
[Kaiman Royal Family Heir’s Inner Core]
This inner core is made using a special magic technique passed down in the Kaiman royal family.
It was taken out by force, which caused some of its magic to disappear. The inner core still has about 100 years of magic stored inside.
If you use it, you get 100 bonus stats. (If your magic is lower than 100, the inner core will take all your stats instead.)
To Use: You must be level 50 or higher and have 100 magic or higher.
Rank: S
While Sejun was looking at the inner core,
“Puhu-hut. Do you like the orb I found?”
“Hehehe. Kkueng! Daddy Kkueng pushed down, and the orb popped right out!”
Theo and Kkueng stuck out their chests, put their paws on their hips, and smiled proudly.
“Yes. Good job,” Sejun said.
He put the inner core in his pocket for later. He would decide what to do with it after the wedding.
“Now, we will start the wedding of Ms. Bbyu Bbyu and Mr. Black Rabbit. Ms. Iona, who is in charge of the ceremony, please come to the platform,” announced the emcee through a magical megaphone.
“Kkyut kkyut kkyut. I’ll be back,”
“Okay. Do well,”
“Do your best, Nyaang!”
“Kkyut kkyut kkyut. Yes!”
With encouragement from Sejun and Theo, Iona flew to the platform.
A moment later,
“Now, let the groom enter!”
Wedding music began to play, and Black Rabbit walked in, wearing a white tuxedo and looking very dignified.
“Our Black Rabbit looks so handsome,” Sejun said, watching him. “You’re becoming an adult now.”
As Sejun watched Black Rabbit walk to the platform, lost in thought,
“President Park! Look at Vice President Theo, Nyaang! I’m more handsome, Nyaang!”
Kkueng added, “[No! Kkueng is more handsome!]”
The two jealous animals were making a fuss to get Sejun’s attention.
“Be quiet,” Sejun said sternly.
He hugged both Theo and Kkueng and went back to watching Black Rabbit’s wedding.
Black Rabbit stood before the platform where Iona was waiting.
“Now, let the bride enter!”
Soft music played as Bbyu Bbyu entered the wedding hall, wearing a beautiful white dress with a red ribbon.
When Bbyu Bbyu appeared in her white dress, her fur as white as snow, it was like sunshine filling the room.
“Carrot flowers,” Sejun murmured.
He watched Bbyu Bbyu walk slowly to the platform, holding a bouquet of bright orange carrot flowers.
He knew carrot flowers meant, “I would give my life for you.” It was the perfect message for their wedding, a promise of deep and lasting love.
Of course, if anything ever happened, he would step in to help. He would never let anyone make Black Rabbit and Bbyu Bbyu unhappy!
The hem of Bbyu Bbyu’s pure white dress swept the platform as she walked. The dress had a long train, several meters long.
The guests wondered how Bbyu Bbyu would reach the platform without help.
Then, the clear jewel in the center of Bbyu Bbyu’s chest glowed.
A gentle wind swirled around Bbyu Bbyu, and the hem of her dress fluttered beautifully behind her.
“Wow,” the guests whispered, admiring Bbyu Bbyu. She looked like a goddess of the wind.
When Bbyu Bbyu reached the platform, the wind died down, and the hem of the dress settled neatly behind her.
Bbyu Bbyu stood next to Black Rabbit.
“Kkyut kkyut kkyut. The two rabbits…” Iona began to read the wedding speech she had prepared.
However, some of the guests started to nod off, finding Iona’s speech boring.
“Kyu-kyu-everyone, wake up!” Iona yelled, angry that the guests weren’t listening to her carefully prepared speech.
“Hey! Wake up! You’ll die if you sleep!”
Thanks to her yelling, no one fell asleep or left their seats until Iona’s speech was over.
As Iona’s speech neared the end,
“Lastly, I will give the blessing and gift of the great Black Dragon to the couple.”
“What?!”
“The great Black Dragon?!”
The guests began to murmur. Receiving the blessing and gift of the great Black Dragon was very meaningful.
The two were about to become the Queen and King of the Red Ribbon Kingdom. This meant that anyone who threatened the Red Ribbon Kingdom would face the great Black Dragon’s punishment.
While the guests were talking,
“Kkyut kkyut kkyut. First, I will give the blessing of the great Black Dragon!” Iona used the Black Dragon’s scales to put Black Dragon tattoos on Bbyu Bbyu and Black Rabbit’s bodies.
They already had tattoos, but they removed them and put new ones on to show the wedding guests.
“Kkyut kkyut kkyut. And this is the gift the great Black Dragon is giving!”
Iona pulled off the white cloth covering an object in the corner of the wedding hall, revealing a searchlight.
It was the searchlight Kaiser had made for Aileen. Now that Aileen was healthy, she no longer needed it. So, Aileen had changed it a little and sent it as a wedding gift through Iona.
Iona turned on the searchlight.
The great Black Dragon roared, and its image appeared in the sky.
Even though it was just a magical image, the powerful feeling it gave off made everyone believe it was the great Black Dragon’s gift.
Bbyu Bbyu and Black Rabbit’s wedding had given the guests a big surprise.
“Now, we will have the bouquet toss. Guests who want to catch the bouquet, please stand behind the bride.”
Only the last event remained.
Sejun was surprised by what happened next.
Guests ran to get a good spot. Hundreds of people stood behind Bbyu Bbyu.
He thought only a few friends would want to catch the bouquet, but he was wrong. And it didn’t matter if they were men or women.
It seems like a lot of people want to get married. Well, I want to get married too…
“Now, bride, please throw the bouquet behind you as hard as you can!”
Bbyu Bbyu threw the bouquet behind her. It flew in a beautiful arc towards the guests.
“It’s mine!”
“No, I’m going to catch it!”
The guests jumped to catch the bouquet, but it brushed past their hands and bounced several times, flying in a completely different direction.
“Nyaang?”
Theo swung his paw at the bouquet as it flew towards him.
The bouquet, hit by Theo’s paw, broke apart in the sky, and carrot flowers scattered everywhere.
“T-The wedding is now over. Guests, please…” The emcee quickly ended the wedding to finish things up.
On the 4th floor of the Black Tower, the Cross of Death continued to absorb wandering souls and turn them into Black Skeletons.
One of the newly resurrected skeletons looked around, trying to figure out where it was.
It was different from the other new Black Skeletons, who were just standing blankly.
Just then, Philip approached the confused new Black Skeleton to teach him how to farm.
“Welcome! Newbie! I’m Philip, the first hoe. I’ll teach you how to make fields and plant crops.”
But the new Black Skeleton began to fix the collapsed rows of the field before Philip could even teach him.
It seemed he already knew how to farm. A soul who had farmed before dying had been resurrected as a Black Skeleton.
And he was very good at it. As the new Black Skeleton put his hand near a grape seedling, green light came from his hand, and the grape seedling grew quickly.
The grapes in the vineyard began to grow fruit right away.
As the wedding ended, the servants began to put food on the tables where the guests were sitting. The wedding reception began.
The guests, forgetting the surprise from earlier, focused on the food in front of them.
“But what is this?” some of the guests asked, interested in Sejun’s rice noodles.
“It’s a dish called rice noodles.”
“I’ve never seen it before. Where did you get it?”
“I heard the King’s uncle brought it.”
“Oh! Really? It’s delicious!”
Hearing the guests praise the rice noodles,
Sejun and Kkueng smiled.
Just then, a loud slurping sound came from the table next to them.
Kkueng turned his head at the sound.
“Oh?! Kkueng?!” Yuren, the merchant, made eye contact with him.
Sparks flew between the two, and their food fight began again.
Sejun watched them eating rice noodles.
Sejun fed Theo Churu and ate his own meal. He had already eaten at the royal palace restaurant, so he picked out the best dishes.
Iona, who had returned to Theo’s tail after her speech, ate stir-fried peanuts.
Suddenly, a guest overturned a table.
“What?! Rice noodles? I told you I don’t eat noodles!” he shouted.
He might not like rice noodles, but overturning the table was not okay.
And more than anything,
The food that flew off the table landed on Kkueng’s head.
How dare he do that to Kkueng!
Sejun was about to say something to the person who overturned the table, but then Kkueng grabbed the man by the collar.
“You said you wouldn’t eat the rice noodles that Daddy and Kkueng made?!” Kkueng shouted, furious.
“But haven’t we met somewhere before?” Kkueng asked. The voice sounded familiar, even though he was seeing the face for the first time.
“N-No! I’ve never seen you before!” the man said, shaking his head.
“No! It’s definitely a familiar voice!”
“T-There’s no way…” The man’s voice was getting quieter as he tried to hide it. He was even more suspicious.
Kkueng smelled the man.
“The smell is familiar too! We’ve met somewhere before!” Kkueng said confidently.
“Of course. That’s the merchant Mimir,” Iona said. She had seen Mimir’s bare face after Theo shaved him.
“You were Mimir, Nyaang?!” Theo quickly took out the contract and sent it to Aileen. “You can’t escape this time, Nyaang!”
While Theo was getting Aileen’s stamp, Mimir, grabbed by the collar by Kkueng, wanted to cry.
“There’s no way this can be bad! Eat it quickly!” Kkueng sat Mimir down and offered him rice noodles.
“Nnyeng…” Mimir forced the rice noodles into his mouth, feeling like he would be killed if he didn’t eat.
Mimir’s eyes widened.
“Delicious!!!”
Kkueng led Mimir into the world of noodles, and Mimir became a noodle fanatic.
