“Theo,” Iona said sternly, “Please be quiet.”

“Yes, Theo, be quiet now,” Sejun added, giving Theo a warning look.

“Meow… Okay, okay,” Theo mumbled, sounding a bit sad.

Theo finally became quiet and watched, only after Sejun and Iona both gave him a sharp look.

After a quiet moment, Iona said, “Ggyut! Ggyut! Ggyut! Sejun, I am ready!”

When Iona was ready, Sejun spoke, “Become abundant.”

Holding a glowing, green bead – the Bead of Life – in his left hand, Sejun touched the dry ground with his right. He used his special power, his Authority.

As he used his Authority, Sejun felt his own life force quickly leaving his body through his right hand.

“Magic of the curse, by my command, take the life force. Life Drain!” Iona chanted.

Magic flowed from Iona’s staff. It pulled life force from the Bead of Life and sent it back into Sejun, so he wouldn’t become weak.
