“Mr. Her, if you act up again, it’s really time for your punishment, meow!”
“Meow…”
Theo was seriously thinking about how to deal with the multiplying Chairman Park, who was spreading like cockroaches.
Of course, he already knew the answer.
“We need to fix Chairman Park’s face, meow!”
If they fixed the original, everything would be solved because the evil copies, the Doom Sejuns, copied Sejun’s face.
Poof!
So, Theo burned all of Sejun’s fortune.
Squish. Squish.
He stomped on Sejun’s face with all his might.
“Vice Chairman Theo?”
Because of that, Sejun’s face was crumpled.
The 100 trillion coins that Theo earned for completing his job quest burned brightly, shining brilliantly.
A moment later,
“Hey! What are you doing spending all that money on my face?!”
“Chairman Park, I used all the money to make up for it, meow! But I couldn’t stand it, meow!”
Sejun playfully pinched Theo’s cheeks.
Still, burning a huge amount of money had a clear effect, and Sejun’s face became as clean as Santa Sejun’s. It was smooth and shiny.
As the original Sejun’s face changed, the copied Sejun’s face also changed too.
Sadly, it couldn’t stay that way for even 10 minutes and gradually started rotting again.
“I’m glad Chairman Park’s face is rotting less, meow!”
The effect was small, especially since Theo spent 100 trillion coins. But Theo seemed happy. He clung to Sejun’s knee and,
“Meow meow meow.”
Happily humming a tune.
Kooeng~ Kooeng~
Kooeng, who was also next to Sejun, got excited too. Kooeng~ Kooeng~ he hummed along.
At that moment,
Hee hee hee. *Squeak!*
Hee hee hee. Blackie hopped closer, tail twitching. *The great Blackie has brought money!* he thought proudly.
Blackie brought the money that the evil copies of Chairman Park dropped to Sejun and,
Squeak! Squeak?
“Butler! The great Blackie did five good deeds today! So, can I do only one good deed tomorrow?”
He puffed himself up and tried to negotiate.
However,
“No.”
Sejun refused firmly.
“And I don’t think this is a good deed.”
Squeak?!
No. He completely denied the good deeds of the Blackie Family.
Originally, making Blackie do good deeds was to make up for his bad deeds, but what Blackie was doing now was far from making up for what he did wrong.
The main point had been lost.
‘I need to make him do something that can really make up for his bad deeds.’
That way, he can receive less punishment later.
“Hmm.”
What could that be?
Bad butler!
Sejun stroked the head of Blackie, who was looking at him with dissatisfaction, and wondered.
Meanwhile,
Hee hee hee.
Blackie, as if his anger had calmed down, lay on his back and allowed his belly to be stroked, wagging his tail.
So, Sejun stroked Blackie’s belly and continued to think about what the Blackie Family should do to help with making up for his bad deeds, and
“Vice Chairman Theo, please call Mr. Her.”
“Okay, meow! Mr. Her, come out, meow!”
He decided to ask for advice from Her, the God of Merchants, whom he could call at any time through Theo.
However,
[The God of Merchants, Her, refuses to talk, saying that he is not a leisurely god who can be called at any time.]
Her, feeling brave because of his impeachment veto, refused Theo’s call and
“Then it’s time for your punishment, Mr. Her, meow!”
Theo immediately started the impeachment vote.
[Black Tower’s Luck-Based Merchant, Park Theo, is trying to impeach the God of Merchants, Her.]
[The slaves, Black Tower’s Merchants Mimir, Yuren, Jeto, Ninir, Machun, and Magin, automatically agree with Black Tower’s Merchant, Park Theo.]
[Green Tower’s Merchant Turbo, Shark, who is a slave…]
[Golden Tower’s Merchants Yuto, Marin, who are slaves…]
[The opinion of the Tower’s Merchant is calculated as 2 votes.]
Theo had gathered 10 merchants for the system impeachment.
Jeto and Yuto didn’t do anything wrong, but they willingly had Theo stamp their approval.
Theo, who started the impeachment vote, got 18 votes in favor.
[Rolling the dice to determine the Luck-Based Merchant’s vote.]
[The dice number ranges from 1 to 6.]
The vote of the Luck-Based Merchant Theo was decided by rolling the dice.
And
[The dice number is 6.]
[The opinion of Luck-Based Merchant, Park Theo, is calculated as 6 votes.]
As expected of a Luck-Based Merchant, the highest number, 6, came out.
[24 votes were cast in favor of impeaching the God of Merchants, Her.]
As soon as the vote calculation was finished,
[More than 50% of the total 36 votes were in favor of impeaching the God of Merchants, Her.]
[Impeaching the God of Merchants, Her.]
Her was impeached without a vote.
[The God of Merchants, Her, uses his impeachment veto.]
Her used his impeachment veto to reject the impeachment and,
[The God of Merchants, Her, says in a confident voice, ‘You cat bastard! I’m not trembling in fear of impeachment anymore!’]
He said proudly to Theo.
Then,
“Then it’s time for your punishment again, meow!”
Theo started the impeachment vote again and
[Black Tower’s Luck-Based Merchant, Park Theo, is trying to impeach the God of Merchants, Her.]
…
..
[The God of Merchants, Her, uses his impeachment veto.]
Her used up both of his impeachment vetoes in an instant.
And
“Impeachment again…”
When Theo impeached again,
[The God of Merchants, Her, says that he was wrong.]
[The God of Merchants, Her, says let’s solve it through conversation.]
Her ran out of vetoes. Suddenly, Theo heard a voice in his mind, sounding much less confident than before. ‘Wait! Wait, Theo! Let’s talk! Maybe we can… uh… work this out?’ Her begged.
“Mr. Her, if you act up again, it’s really time for your punishment, meow!”
[The God of Merchants, Her, says that he will never act up again.]
He begged before Theo.
[Impeachment Veto]
That was actually Her’s gift, but it was also a trap at the same time.
Santa Sejun is someone that Theo raised with his heart. Of course, he would never betray Theo.
As soon as the order was set,
“Mr. Her, what kind of work would be good for our Blackie to do to make up for his bad deeds?”
Sejun asked Her through Theo and,
“Chairman Park, Mr. Her says that the fastest way to make up for his bad deeds is for Blackie to directly fix the bad things Blackie did, meow!”
Theo told Her’s opinion.
“Directly fix the bad things he did?”
“That’s right, meow! He says it’s best to go directly and ask for forgiveness or fix it, meow!”
“Really? Then where should we go to fix the bad things he did?”
When Sejun asked back,
“Mr. Her, where should we go, meow? Meow?! You said you don’t know, meow?! Mr. Her, are you kidding, meow?! Do you want to be punished, meow?!”
Theo started to get angry while asking Her.
A moment later.
[The God of Merchants, Her, says that there is one way.]
Her, who was asked again and again by Theo, desperately came up with a way.
“So, if Blackie can control some of the world’s energy, the magical power that flows through everything, it will help him make up for his bad deeds?”
“That’s right, meow! He says you can apologize to the souls in the world’s energy, meow!”
According to Theo’s explanation, it was like this.
People believed the world’s energy held pieces of old, broken worlds. They also said it contained the souls of those who died when those worlds were destroyed. Because of this, some thought Camman could make up for his mistakes by saying sorry to these souls in the world’s energy.
Sejun nodded, thinking. “Okay, I have an idea.”
He thought about how Camman could make things right. Then he said to Camman, “Camman, you need to apologize one hundred times every day. Do you understand?”
“Kking! Kking! Kking!” Camman barked happily.
[Yes, Master! I understand! I will do my best! From now on, call me Camman the Great Apologizer!] Camman looked very serious and ready to start.
Then, strange sounds filled the air: “Kkiroong. Eomroong. Kkirurung.”
The whole Camman family was there, each holding a glowing piece of world energy in their mouths. They started to apologize over and over to the souls in what seemed like another world, a spirit world.
Sejun watched them, a little worried. “They aren’t trying to scare the souls into forgiving them, are they?” he wondered. He looked closely at the Camman family. They seemed to be in a trance, almost like they had fallen asleep.
Plop. Plop. Sejun planted more Destruction Devourer seeds. Suddenly, *thud*. Two drops of the Tears of Destruction fell from the sky, drawn by the fire energy nearby.
But this time, *wiggle, wiggle*. Instead of turning into Sejun, the drops changed into Theo!
Theo, the cat, was still curled up on Sejun’s knee, closer than Sejun himself. These new Theo copies, the Destruction Theos, *whoosh*, zoomed towards Sejun using their cat-like speed.
“Nyang?! Chairman Park’s knee is mine! Nyang!” Theo cried out.
The real Theo, who always protected Sejun’s knee, jumped up to fight these copies. *Bang! Kwwa Kwang!* Theo crashed into the two Destruction Theos. There was a loud explosion!
“Kkueng!” a voice called out.
[Dad, Kkueng is here to help!]
Suddenly, Kkueng, the giant rabbit, grew bigger and bigger. He shielded Sejun and the Camman family with his large body.
A moment later, Theo jumped back onto Sejun’s knee, holding the two defeated Theo copies.
“Puhu! I won, nyang! Chairman Park, I did it! I made money, nyang!”
It was clear the Destruction Theos were no match for Theo, who seemed to get power from being on Sejun’s knee. The fight was over quickly.
*Plop. Plop.* The Destruction Sejuns, who were still planting seeds and ignoring everything else, continued their work.
Sejun decided to leave them. “Let’s go home,” he said. He turned and walked back towards the Black Tower.
Sejun arrived back on the 99th floor of the Black Tower.
“Huh?” he said, surprised.
“Kkyuk! Kkyuk! No, Mr. Sejun! You need to twist your wrist more when you swing!” It was Pposabu’s voice.
Sejun saw Pposabu teaching… another Sejun! This other Sejun, Sejun Number Three, was practicing sword moves.
“Pposabu!” Sejun called out to Pposabu, whose real name was Ppochi.
“Kkyuk?! Why are there two Mr. Sejuns?” He looked from Sejun to Sejun Number Three, who kept swinging his sword, back and forth, back and forth. Ppochi seemed very flustered.
Suddenly, Sejun noticed something strange. Sejun Number Three was still swinging the sword with all his might, but this time, there was no sound.
Then, messages popped up in front of Sejun’s eyes: [The Dragon Fruit with the power of Ambiguous Dragon Park Sejun has learned something important while practicing Beginner Mana Swordsmanship.] [This learning from the Dragon Fruit is now shared with Black Tower Park Sejun.] [Your Beginner Mana Swordsmanship skill has gone up by 3 levels!] [Beginner Mana Swordsmanship is now Level 4.]
“Huh?!” Sejun said aloud. “Skills can level up like this too?” He thought quickly, ‘Since Pposabu is here, if Sejun Number Three keeps practicing swordsmanship… I might be able to learn Beginner Aura Swordsmanship from Pposabu! I didn’t learn it last time!’ Sejun felt excited.
But then, “Kkyuk! Kkyuk! I can’t! I’m too busy!” Ppochi refused right away.
“Why? Pposabu, you’re not married. What could be so busy?” Sejun asked.
“Yes, nyang! Why won’t you help the great Chairman Park when you’re single, nyang?” Theo added.
Sejun and Theo, who both had partners, teased Ppochi, who had been alone for 300 years. *Plop.* It felt like a small knife had stabbed Ppochi’s heart. “This is so unfair,” he thought. “Those who have love, get even more.”
“Kkyuk! Kkyuk!” Ppochi shouted back, sounding sad and desperate. “That’s because I’m looking for a bride! I will get married within one year, no matter what!” Ppochi had come to the Black Tower to find someone to marry.
“Oh?! Pposabu, I’m really sorry…” Sejun said, feeling bad for teasing him.
“Pposabu, sorry, nyang…” Theo echoed, just because Sejun did.
“Pposabu, don’t worry!” Sejun said, trying to sound helpful. “I’ll help you find a bride! Hehe. Even though I might not look like much, I’m actually very important in the Black Tower. Just tell me what kind of bride you want!” Sejun puffed out his chest a little.
“Kkyuk! Kkyuk! Mr. Sejun, if you can, I hope she has lots and lots of fur! And it must be black fur!” Ppochi said quickly, sharing his ideal type. He explained, “I don’t like white fur. It reminds me of bad times.”
“Lots of black fur…” Sejun thought about this. Just then, Theo jumped in, “Puhu! Great Chairman Park, I, Vice Chairman Theo, know the perfect bride with lots of black fur, nyang!” Theo announced proudly.
“Oh?! Really?! Vice Chairman Theo, can you bring her here tomorrow?” Sejun asked, excited.
“Puhu! Yes, nyang! I will!” Theo replied.
“Pposabu, then you’ll teach me swordsmanship while we wait for your bride, right?” Sejun asked Ppochi.
“Kkyuk! Kkyuk! Of course! Leave it to me! I will help you master Beginner Mana Swordsmanship today!” Ppochi declared. He decided he would stay on the 99th floor until he found his bride.
“Vice Chairman Theo,” Sejun whispered to Theo, “Who are you going to introduce?”
“Puhu! It’s a bride Chairman Park knows very well, nyang!” Theo replied.
“I know her?” Sejun asked, surprised.
“Yes, nyang! It’s Gorina, nyang!” Theo said, beaming.
“What?!” Sejun exclaimed quietly. He realized Theo was going to introduce Gorina to Pposabu! And Gorina *did* have lots of black fur…
“Nyang? What’s wrong, nyang?” Theo asked, his eyes wide and innocent.
*This cat is truly evil,* Sejun thought to himself. *And he doesn’t even realize it!*
“Vice Chairman Theo,” Sejun said slowly, “Please… bring her here as slowly as you possibly can.”
“Puhu! I understand, nyang!” Theo nodded happily. Sejun sighed. *Maybe I’m not so different from Theo after all,* he thought, a small smile playing on his lips.
