Farming in the Tower Alone [EN]: Chapter 698

It's Great Blackie's!

“Jjui! Jjui!” squeaked one hamster, his tiny paws holding a peanut. “[What *are* these? They taste amazing!]”

“Chubi! Chubi!” another hamster cried, stuffing his cheeks. “[Wow! Roasted peanuts like this are incredible!]”

The hamsters at the wedding party were going crazy for the roasted peanuts. The smell was warm and nutty, and the taste was like nothing they had ever had before. They had never tasted peanuts so perfectly roasted and delicious.

“Heh heh heh,” Sejun chuckled. “Of course they’re delicious. I grew them myself, you know!” He was about to puff out his chest, watching the happy hamsters.

*Bbaan.* A quiet sound made Sejun stop.

“Hey, Chairman Park,” Theo said, staring at Sejun. “Don’t look so proud of yourself. You’ll get a big head.”

Theo’s serious look made Sejun calm down quickly. He knew Theo was right.

As the hamsters focused completely on eating Sejun’s delicious peanuts, something strange started to happen.

Messages popped up in front of Sejun’s eyes:

`[Fed 10 people to their fill.]`

`[[Title: Saint Who Feeds to Fullness> increases all stats by 2.]`

Sejun blinked. “Stats increasing? What’s going on?” He knew this title gave him power, but he hadn’t expected it to activate now.

Then, more messages appeared, much faster this time.

`[Fed 1000 people to their fill.]`

`[[Title: Saint Who Feeds to Fullness> increases all stats by 200.]`

`[Your soul is greatly filled with the praise of many.]`

`[Mental Strength increases by 70.]`

Sejun felt a rush of energy, like too much power flowing into him at once. His head started to spin. “This is getting out of control!” he thought. He realized with alarm that his stats were rising too quickly. Too much power could be dangerous.

“I have to stop this!” Sejun gasped, feeling a sense of panic.

But it was too late.

`[Fed 10,000 people to their fill.]`

`[[Title: Saint Who Feeds to Fullness> increases all stats by 2000.]`

Power surged through Sejun like a tidal wave. “Keeuk!” he choked, staggering back. It felt like his body and mind were being crushed by a huge weight. He was in danger of collapsing completely.

Just as Sejun thought he would collapse, *PA-THOOM!* A flash of bright white light burst out from Theo’s body, like a small sun exploding.

A familiar voice, Sejun’s own voice, echoed from the light. “Heh heh. Looks like it’s my turn to help!”

The light shimmered and took shape. It was Super-Gigantic Chairman Park No. 3, Sejun’s clone! He floated out of Theo and rose quickly into the air, becoming a giant ball of glowing energy.

As he did, Sejun felt the crushing weight lift from his body. The extra power was being sucked into the glowing clone above him, making it even bigger and brighter.

“Again? It’s always me,” Sejun muttered, looking up, now feeling much better. He recognized his clone, the one who usually stayed inside Theo. This had happened before.

But then, Sejun’s eyes widened. “Wait… what?!”

This wasn’t just Super-Gigantic Chairman Park No. 3 anymore. This was… Super-Super-Gigantic Chairman Park No. 3, and he looked very different.

“Hey! Get out of that dress! Not with my face!” Sejun shouted, pointing.

Floating above him was his clone, but now wearing a frilly black dress, covered in lace!

“Oops! Sorry!” the clone said sheepishly. In a blink, the dress vanished, and he was wearing a smart black tuxedo instead.

He struck a pose in the air. “Heh heh! I am Wedding Sejun, the god of marriage! And I will punish anyone who tries to ruin a wedding! In the name of love… and justice!”

“Ugh,” Sejun groaned. “Wedding Sejun, god of marriage? Seriously? And stop doing that finger thing!” Wedding Sejun was folding his middle and ring fingers in a silly way. Sejun felt embarrassed just watching him.

As Wedding Sejun, the god of marriage, appeared, more messages flashed in front of Sejun:

`[Your clone, Wedding Sejun, the god of marriage, is created!]`

`[Great achievement! You have created a very powerful clone.]`

`[Warning: This clone is stronger than you.]`

`[Reward reduced because clone is too strong.]`

`[Reward: Divinity increased by 10.]`

`[Wedding Sejun will act on his own until you become stronger.]`

Sejun sighed. “Great. Even my clone is better than me.”

Just then, another message popped up:

`[New achievement! You have created three clones stronger than yourself.]`

`[Reward: New Talent unlocked: Main Body Worse Than Clone.]`

`[Reward: Stay cost reduced by 10%.]`

“Stay cost reduced? 10%!” Sejun exclaimed. “Yes! If I get another 20% off, it’ll be free!” Suddenly, he felt much happier.

He looked at the description of the new talent:

`[Talent: Main Body Worse Than Clone]`

`Your clones will always know you are weaker than them.`

Sejun frowned. “Wait, what does that mean?”

“Hey!” Sejun said, finally understanding the talent description.

Wedding Sejun chuckled, making fun of the real Sejun. “Heh heh. Well, *Main body* Park Sejun,” he said, emphasizing “Main body” with a smirk. “Better hurry up and get stronger so we can meet again. Though, I doubt that will happen.” He snapped his fingers. “Oh, and here’s a little gift for you.”

Wedding Sejun was clearly jealous that the real Sejun could use the special power to join with Theo. Clones were always like that, Sejun thought.

Suddenly, another message appeared:

`[Wedding Sejun has given you a wedding blessing!]`

`[Blessing: If you marry 100 couples in the next year, good things will happen.]`

A soft green glow surrounded Sejun, like warm, gentle light. The blessing settled on him.

Sejun read the blessing and his eyes widened in disbelief. “Marry 100 couples?! Are you kidding me?!” he yelled. “I’m already annoyed that Bbo Ssaboo got married! No way am I doing this!” He scowled, crossing his arms.

Wedding Sejun just laughed. “Heh heh! See you at the weddings then!” And with another flash of light, he vanished. The birthday party and wedding reception went on late into the night, but Sejun was still grumbling about the crazy blessing.

Finally, as the stars filled the night sky, the eventful day came to an end. Sejun was exhausted but also strangely amused by everything that had happened. Wedding Sejun, the god of marriage… it was all so ridiculous. But he couldn’t shake off the feeling of annoyance about the wedding blessing.

Soon, funny rumors started to spread. People whispered that Wedding Sejun, the god of marriage, was now showing up at weddings everywhere! And not only that, but he was demanding 10% of all the wedding gifts as his “godly fee”! Some people even claimed to have seen him, a flash of light and a figure in a tuxedo, before the wedding gifts mysteriously became a little lighter.

Far away, in the quiet Forest of Creation, Fire Flower floated back, glowing softly. “Hehet. I’m back!” she chirped happily. “The party was great!”

A deep, stone voice echoed around her. “Did you find the problem?”

It was the Statue of Trials, a giant stone figure standing silently in the forest. It already knew the answer. Fire Flower hadn’t found anything. But it had to ask. It was its duty.

Fire Flower paused, her light dimming slightly. “Um… no problem found,” she admitted. “Just lots of happy hamsters and delicious peanuts!”

“Hehet. No!” Fire said, looking up at the tall stone statue. Even though he had failed, Fire’s face was bright and happy.

“That’s alright, Fire,” the Stone Statue of Trials rumbled in a deep voice. “It’s good you are still cheerful. Don’t be sad about failing. Keep trying!”

“Hehet. Yes!” Fire replied. “Thank you!”

Fire knew he had tried to trick the Stone Statue, but the statue had pretended not to notice. Fire was grateful for this kindness and thanked it in his heart.

As Fire and the Stone Statue of Trials talked, Fire’s mind connected with the Incarnations.

Fire’s power was weak, so his main body couldn’t handle the power of the Incarnations, and the connection was cut off.

And then…

“Huh?!” Fire exclaimed.

Fire, still connected to the Incarnations, was surprised.

Why were the Chieftains there?

The nine Chieftains of the Great Dragon Race were in a place he didn’t expect. They weren’t being lazy as usual, but working quickly and well.

The Temple of the Creator God.

“Seriously, why call us now to work?” one of the Chieftains grumbled.

“Sejun makes so many delicious dishes…” another added.

“I hope he saved some for us,” a third chimed in.

“Sejun’s employees rest one day after working a week. Shouldn’t we, as Great Dragons, rest one day after working an hour?” another complained.

The nine Chieftains, called by the Creator God to work, grumbled. They were sad when they weren’t called, but now they wished they hadn’t been summoned.

The Creator God thought the Chieftains were managing the dragons and the tower, but…

[Hehet. That’s not true. The Chieftains drink and play with the wine Sejun makes every day! Hehet. They say our Sejun makes the most delicious wine!] Fire tattled.

“What?! They’re drinking and playing every day?!” The Creator God roared.

Even I, the Creator God, am working! How outrageous!

Angered by Fire’s tattling, the Creator God immediately summoned the Chieftains and put them to work.

“Um… Great Dragons, the Creator God said to make a bed when you’re done with everything else…” Emila said nervously.

“Great Dragons, the Creator God said the lighting is too bright…” Amur added.

Emila and Amur were having a terrible time working with the difficult Chieftains. Still, they hoped the work would be finished soon.

With the help of the nine Chieftains, the special room that the Creator God would enter when Sejun came to the Land of Destruction was almost complete. Some might call it a prison.

Sejun’s preparations to cross over to the Land of Destruction were nearing completion.

“Oof!” Sejun said, waking up refreshed. Thanks to his body being completely changed, he had no hangover.

Heh heh. Am I now a booze-loving Sejun?

Sejun was about to become too proud of being able to drink well.

Thump.

Theo, still half-asleep, put his paw on Sejun’s face, stopping him from being too proud.

“Ahem,” Sejun cleared his throat.

How did Theo know?

Sejun quickly changed his expression. If he became too conceited, he would be in trouble.

Isn’t my face puffy?

Sejun felt his face, checking how he looked.

“Meow…” Theo purred.

“Squeak…” Kkuengi squeaked.

Sejun took care of Theo, his wife, and the Blackie family, then got up.

Clang.

He opened the subspace warehouse and started his daily routine.

I need to fill the warehouse first.

Yesterday’s party had used up almost all the ingredients, leaving the warehouse empty, so Sejun decided to fill it first. That way, he would feel safe.

“Theo Vice President, claws,” Sejun said.

Press. Press.

Sejun pressed Theo’s claws and hunted monsters with One-Cat Power, then circled the 10th Tower and Black Demonic Star before returning to the Black Tower.

But why aren’t the dragon statues moving?

Sejun wondered, looking at the nine dragon statues standing still at the fountain. There had been no news since they were called by the Creator God.

“…They played a lot,” Sejun said to himself.

Sejun felt happy that the Nine Dragons Association dragons had been summoned by the Creator God.

Thud. Thud.

Boom.

[Sejun, good morning,] Pink Fur said, carrying Kkuengi.

“Yeah. Good morning. Just a moment,” Sejun replied.

Sejun took the snack pouch from Kkuengi and Pink Fur and went to the kitchen.

“Time to cook.”

Sejun made more Choco Pies like the ones Sejun No. 12 made and filled Pink Fur’s snack pouch. Then, Pink Fur went to train.

A little later…

After breakfast was over…

“Puhu! Great Hybrid Chairman Park, I’m going to earn a lot of money, meow!” Theo exclaimed.

“Kkuhehehe. Kkueng!” Kkuengi giggled.

[Hehehe. I’m going to the Kkuengi herb field!] Kkuengi said happily.

After sending Theo and Kkuengi to work for the first time in a while, Sejun started working again.

He worked all morning, had lunch, and worked hard again until evening. When Theo and Kkuengi got off work, they had dinner together.

Let’s go to sleep now.

He went to bed.

Of course, he wasn’t really sleeping. He restarted cleaning the world’s energy, which he had stopped to prepare for the birthday party.

Blackie’s mind.

“Guys, I’m sorry,” Blackie said.

“I’m sorry,” his friends repeated.

Theo appeared, holding a tiny Sejun the size of a finger joint on his paw. “Puhu! Meet Mini Chairman Park No. 4, meow! This is our great Hybrid Chairman Park, meow!”

“Hello,” Mini Chairman Park No. 4 said.

Where are they coming from?

Sejun reached out his hand to Mini Chairman Park No. 4 and greeted him.

Clasp.

Mini Chairman Park No. 4, who couldn’t speak well yet, hugged Sejun’s finger happily.

“Nightmare Gil-soon, hello too,” Sejun said.

“Yes. Hello,” Nightmare Gil-soon replied.

As they greeted each other and Sejun and his friends were comforting the souls…

Gurgle.

Red energy came out of one soul, and Corruption appeared. It was a mass of sharp angles and pulsing red light, like a broken mirror made of fire.

“Oh. Nice to meet you!” Sejun greeted Corruption as well.

After seeing it so many times, the scary look of Corruption was bearable.

“-You are my…” Corruption started to say.

Corruption’s voice was soft, almost pleading.

“Theo Vice President, magic beam!” Sejun shouted.

“Puhu! Ready, meow!” Theo replied.

“Go! Magic Beam!”

“Meow!”

Sejun, thinking it would say something bad again, attacked without waiting.

Whoosh.

“-Keke… You’re really not afraid of me,” Corruption said with a smile, and then disappeared.
