“Home sweet home!” Sejun shouted, raising his arms high. He was back from the 75th floor of the Tower. “Squawk!” cried the Black Rabbit. “Kkweang!” shouted Kkweang. They copied Sejun, happy to be home. Even though they were only gone for three days, it felt like much longer. They were so happy to be back on the 99th floor.
Kkweang made a questioning sound, “Kkweang?” It looked at Sejun, holding a rock. It seemed like it really wanted to drop the rock and run to its mother.
“Just put it there,” Sejun said.
“Kkweang!” Kkweang quickly put the rock down. *Thump!* It made a loud noise. “Kkweeeeang!” Then, Kkweang ran as fast as it could to its mother, the Crimson Giant Bear.
“Squawk!” The Black Rabbit also hurried to its family, letting them know it was home.
“Should I plant the pineapples first?” Sejun wondered as he was left alone.
Sejun took out 12 pineapple crowns from his bag and planted them in the field. Then, he looked at the Enhanced Seed of the Fallen Ent, which was left alone in the corner of his bag.
[Enhanced Seed of the Fallen Ent (Purification Rate 50%)]
Sejun wondered when he would purify the seed. ‘If it receives the Flame of Purification one more time, it will be completely purified.’
As Sejun looked at the seed, *Flap. Flap.* The Black Dragon Statue flew closer.
“Kahaha! Park Sejun, you are such a fool!” Kaiser said loudly, seeing the rock. “You can’t even appraise items! How bad are you!” Kaiser was very proud of himself.
“Kahaha! I, the great Black Dragon Kaiser Britany, will appraise it for you!” Even though Sejun didn’t ask, Kaiser wanted to show off. He knew Eileen, his granddaughter, was probably watching Sejun through her crystal ball. Kaiser wanted to look like a wonderful grandfather to her.
As the Black Dragon Statue sat on the rock, *Flash!* Bright light burst from the rock. *Flash!* It flashed again. Right then, a message appeared:
“[The Tower’s Administrator is upset because her grandfather took her chance to appraise the item.]”
“[The Tower’s Administrator says she will not talk to her grandfather anymore. She wants you to tell him this.]”
Eileen was angry with Kaiser for taking her turn to be important.
“Kaiser,” Sejun said, “Eileen says she won’t talk to you.”
“…What?! Eileen! Let’s talk, Grandpappy! Eileen~!” Kaiser called out loudly, really wanting Eileen to talk to him. Sejun, while Kaiser was busy, looked at the information about the rock.
[Fragment of a Sacred Stele] It is the ninth piece of the Sacred Stele. It gives off a holy power that helps things around it. The more pieces you find, the stronger the power gets. Rank: S.
“A holy power that helps things around?” Sejun thought. He closed his eyes and tried to feel it, but he didn’t feel much different. The description of the item didn’t seem as amazing as he expected for something with rank S.
“But still, it’s an S-rank item,” Sejun said to himself. He decided it was good to have an S-rank item in his yard.
Then, Sejun looked around his farm to see if anything had changed while he was gone.
“Huh?” Sejun stopped. He saw something new. It was a wooden path for water, made from a tree cut in half and made hollow inside. It went from the fountain to the field. Because the fountain was about 1 meter tall, the water flowed down the wooden path to the field.
“Oh! Did the Gray Rabbits make a waterway?” Sejun wondered. Everyone was working hard even when he wasn’t there. Sejun walked around the field, letting all the animals know he was back. Then he went down to the cave to check on the plants he was storing.
“Flame! I’m here!” Sejun called out. Flame was in the middle of the cave, enjoying the warm sunlight.
“[Master! Welcome back!]” Flame said happily.
“Have you been well?” Sejun asked.
“[Yes! Master, but did something new appear outside? I have been feeling a warm energy coming into my body for a while now. It makes me feel strong and happy!]” It seemed like the S-rank stele was working.
“[Ah! I am happy to see Master, but the warm energy makes me even happier! But seeing Master makes me *much* happier!]” Flame made sure to say he was happy to see Sejun, because he didn’t want Sejun to think he only cared about the energy.
“Okay,” Sejun said, smiling. He gently touched Flame’s leaves. He thought Flame was very cute when he talked so sweetly. After talking to Flame, Sejun checked the plants in storage and went to bed early.
In front of the portal to the Black Tower. “Hmm…” Kaiser sat at a table, looking very serious. His chin was on his hand, and he seemed lost in thought.
‘Did he argue with Eileen again?’ Anton wondered. He had been out doing some work and now looked at Kaiser’s serious face.
“Lord, what’s wrong?” Anton asked. He didn’t think it was anything too bad, but he wanted to check.
“Son,” Kaiser said, “I have found traces of the Creator God.”
“Y-yes?!” Anton, who always kept a calm face, looked very surprised at Kaiser’s words. His calm face disappeared.
“Kahaha! I knew you would be surprised! I was very shocked at first too!” Kaiser laughed, seeing Anton’s surprised face.
“Where?! Where did you find the Creator God’s trace?” Anton asked, very excited. The Creator God was the one who made the Tower they looked after. Dragons had been searching for any sign of the Creator God for over 3000 years.
3000 years ago, the Creator God had said, “You must find my traces and rebuild the world.” Then, the Creator God disappeared completely. Because of this, their world was destroyed. Actually, many worlds were destroyed. They wanted to know *why* the Creator God made the Tower and why they were asked to take care of it.
“The Creator God’s trace came from the Black Tower we manage.”
“Yes?!” Anton was surprised.
“It’s a piece of a stele, and Park Sejun brought it from the lake on the 75th floor of the Tower.”
“The Tower?!” Anton was shocked by Kaiser’s words. They had been searching very hard for traces of the Creator God outside the Tower… and it was inside the Tower all along? It was right in front of them!
“If it’s a stele, what was written on it?” Anton asked.
“Nothing. Absolutely nothing.”
“Yes?”
“The stele piece we found was the bottom part, so there were no words on it.”
“Ah… Ah! Is Park Sejun okay?” Anton asked quickly. It was the trace of the Creator God! A normal person could be hurt just by being close to it. Sejun was the one who could help Eileen with her Dragon Heart problem. Nothing must happen to Sejun.
“Kahaha! Do you know who I am?! I am Kaiser Britany, the head of the great Black Dragon Britany family! I…” Kaiser started to tell the story of how he appraised the rock Sejun brought.
“The moment I appraised it, I felt the Creator God’s holy power moving inside the rock.”
“And then?” Anton asked, worried.
“I thought Park Sejun and everyone near him would die as soon as the rock’s seal broke. So, I quickly gave it a normal-sounding name and sealed it again without anyone knowing. What do you think? Wasn’t I quick-thinking? Kahaha!” Kaiser said, feeling very proud.
“Hmph. Good job,” Anton said, feeling relieved. He didn’t like Kaiser’s bragging, but he had to admit when Kaiser did something well. Resealing something with the Creator God’s holy power was not easy. If Kaiser hadn’t done it, something bad could have happened.
“Son,” Kaiser said, “there’s something even more important than that.”
“What is it?” Anton asked.
“Our Eileen doesn’t want to talk to me! Can you help us make up?” Kaiser was very powerful, but making his granddaughter stop being angry was almost impossible for him.
“I have some important work to do…” Anton thought. He also didn’t want to get involved.
Floor 2 of the Tower. The land, which was almost empty before, was now green and full of plants. It was over 1000 pyeong in size. People were walking between the fields, which were divided into smaller parts of 100 pyeong each.
“Welcome to Gagel’s Experience Farm,” said Gagel’s guide, leading the hunters.
“Really? Just by cutting these, I get experience points like from monsters?” asked a young hunter. He looked like he was in his teens and was wearing expensive equipment. He looked at the cherry tomatoes that were moving and wiggling. The hunter had paid 100 million (currency name) to use the experience farm.
“Of course,” the guide said. “These are monster plants that we at Gagel found by accident. Our researchers worked hard, and we can now grow a lot of them like this.” Gagel was even lying to its own workers. They told them the cherry tomatoes were monster plants found in the Tower, because people might not like mutants.
“David, please try to cut one,” the guide said, pointing to the bottom of a cherry tomato. David used his sword and *Scritch.* The cherry tomato was cut easily.
[You have defeated a contaminated cherry tomato.] [You have gained 33 experience points.] Experience points appeared.
“Oh! It’s real?” David said, surprised.
“Of course. Now, you will see why this place is called an experience farm.” The guide took out a torch and gave it to David.
“Just burn them all,” the guide said.
“Nice!” David smiled happily. *Whoosh!* He started burning the cherry tomatoes. Burning all of the 100 pyeong area would give about 5,000 to 7,000 experience points. Gagel was getting 100 million for letting hunters get experience points from 100 pyeong of the farm. Rich hunters who wanted to get experience points safely and quickly were booking times and waiting to use Gagel’s experience farm.
“How many days does it take for the crops to grow back?”
“A month is more than enough.”
“Thomas, increase the size of the farm by 100 times.”
“Yes!” Michael instructed Thomas, watching the fields burning brightly.
“Ugh-cha!” Sejun opened his eyes and sat up. He felt very rested, maybe because he had slept well for the first time in a while.
“Squawk!” The Black Rabbit came out of its little wooden house and greeted him when it heard Sejun get up.
“Yeah. Good morning,” Sejun said. He got up and used a stick to write the date on the bedroom wall.
[250] The morning of his 250th day on the tower began. He decided to write the date on the brick house wall every day from now on.
“Let’s go outside,” Sejun said. As Sejun and the Black Rabbit went outside, the rabbits were coming up from the cave to the ground, one after another.
“Squeak! Squeaaa! Squeak!”
“Yeah. Good morning,” Sejun said to the rabbits.
He ate Chef’s soup, which had been cooking for 24 hours, and steamed potatoes for breakfast. As Sejun walked to the field to pick cherry tomatoes, “Squeaaa!!! Squeaaap!!!” He heard happy shouts from the rabbits behind him. They quickly passed Sejun in a wooden boat. *Splash!* The boat went by, and water splashed on Sejun.
“Huh?!” Sejun was surprised. It was like a water ride! The field had become so big that the rabbits were using boats in the waterway to travel and make it easier to get to the field.
“I’m jealous!” Sejun thought. He was very envious. *I want a ride too… no, I need transportation!*
Kkweang? Sejun wasn’t the only one who was envious of the rabbits’ boats.
“Kkweang!” Kkweang shouted, watching the rabbits in the wooden boat. *I want to ride too!*
“Kkweang!” Kkweang picked up a wooden plank and climbed onto the fountain. It bravely put the wooden plank on the waterway and sat down. But, *Crack.* The wooden supports of the waterway were not made thinking Kkweang would climb on it. They were not strong enough for Kkweang’s weight. *Thud!* As soon as Kkweang sat down, the wooden supports broke like thin sticks. The wooden waterway fell apart in a big accident.
“Kkweeeeang…” Kkweang looked at the broken waterway with a confused face. It had fallen down with the wood. *Pat.* Sejun gently touched Kkweang’s head. “It’s okay,” Sejun said to comfort Kkweang.
“Kkweeeeang…” [I want to ride a boat too…]
“Don’t worry. I’ll give you a ride,” Sejun promised. Because of what Kkweang did, Sejun had to rebuild the waterway. But he also got an idea. “Everyone, come here!” Sejun called the Gray Rabbits and the Black Minotaurs. He started a big project to build a new, strong waterway.
