A few hours earlier.
Kaiser realized Aileen could handle more as the Tower’s administrator now that the Dragonheart was stronger. He began explaining her new duties, speaking louder than usual, but Aileen stopped him from continuing.
Aileen~!
He tried hard to talk to Aileen, but she remained silent. There was only one option left.
‘I need to ask Park Sejun for a favor.’
Kaiser looked for Sejun to get that favor. He thought that if he helped Sejun with something, Sejun would naturally allow him to talk to Aileen again.
‘Oh, there he is.’
Looking down from the fountain, Kaiser quickly spotted Sejun.
Just then,
‘What is this energy?!’
He felt a strange energy coming from the goblin next to Sejun. It was like a creature living inside another creature – a parasite. And inside that parasite, Kaiser felt the energy of the White Dragons, a race he deeply hated.
‘How dare they come here!’
He forgot all about getting a favor from Sejun and used the magic power stored in the black dragon statue to destroy the creature instantly.
If he accidentally killed the goblin, the parasite inside might find another host nearby, possibly endangering Sejun.
Because of this, all the magic power in the black dragon statue was used up, and he had to recharge it before he could ask Sejun for a favor.
He could just ask Sejun for a favor directly, but the pride of the great Black Dragon and the head of the Pritani family wouldn’t allow it.
“Blast it!!!”
“Father, what’s wrong?” Anton asked, seeing Kaiser’s anger.
“I just sensed the energy of those White Dragons on the 99th floor of the tower.”
“What? Why the energy of the White Dragons?”
“They must be trying to find out where the Black Tower is located.”
“Are they trying to attack it?”
“They know Aileen is the administrator of the Black Tower, so they’re underestimating us! How dare they underestimate my granddaughter!!!” Kaiser fumed.
But there was nothing he could do right now.
He could only hope that Aileen would grow quickly and fully take on her role as the Tower’s administrator.
Aileen~!
Kaiser called out to Aileen again.
“Ugh!”
“Nya?! What’s that rotten smell, nya?!”
“Kyoo-the stench is too strong.”
Squawk!
Oong!
Pew! Pew!
Sejun and the animals covered their noses, trying to block the terrible smell coming from the subspace prison.
Pew! Pew! quickly used wind magic to try and clear the smell from the subspace prison, which helped a lot.
Sejun held his breath. “Okay, let’s go inside.”
Theo’s eyes widened. “Are you *seriously* going in there, nya? That smell is awful! I can smell it even from here!”
Black Rabbit wrinkled his nose, *Squawk?* (Are you sure?) he seemed to ask.
Oong whimpered softly, *Oong…* (It’s really bad, Sejun).
Sejun knew the smell was terrible, even for him. But for the animals, with their sensitive noses, it must be torture just to be close.
Thud.
In the end, only Sejun and Theo went into the subspace prison. Theo decided to bury his nose in Sejun’s lap and hold his breath as much as possible instead of falling.
‘I’ll protect Chairman Park’s lap, nya!’
Theo wasn’t going to let a bad smell defeat him.
The prison was a small, dark room, like a cube. It was only about two meters wide. Before Sejun went in, Pew! Pew! used magic to make a ball of light float inside.
“The smell is coming from this.”
Sejun frowned as soon as he entered, seeing the hardened filth on the floor. It was the source of the terrible smell.
‘Disgusting.’
He wanted to get water from outside and clean it right away, but first he needed to see what was inside the prison.
The prison was small, so he could quickly see everything. Something was hanging from the corner of the ceiling, wrapped in its wings. And he could see a name above it.
[Golden Bat]
A bat about the size of a fist was hanging from the corner of the ceiling with a thin iron chain tied to its leg.
“Golden Bat?” Sejun was puzzled by the name. It didn’t look gold at all. It just looked dirty.
As Sejun carefully approached, the golden bat struggled to spread its wings and opened its eyes.
(…?!)
The golden bat saw Sejun and was surprised that someone other than its master, Skaram, was looking at it.
A voice spoke in Sejun’s mind. *Are you the new master?* the voice asked.
“Master? Are you talking?” Sejun asked, looking at the golden bat.
-Yes.
The golden bat trembled as it answered. It was very afraid because it didn’t know what the new master would be like.
“Golden Bat, this won’t do. I’ll clean this place up first.”
(…Clean? Is he going to clean *for me*?)
The new master didn’t give it any orders but instead got water from outside and started cleaning the prison with the black rabbit and baby bear. The animals covered their noses with leaves because the smell was so strong.
‘Does it smell that bad?’
Sniff sniff.
The golden bat smelled its own body. But the golden bat had been in the prison for so long that its nose was numb and it didn’t realize how bad it smelled.
Just then,
“You too, wash up.” Sejun said, bringing warm water in a wooden bowl.
(Yes.)
The golden bat immediately started washing itself with the water, following the master’s command. It realized how dirty it was as it watched the water gradually turn black.
But it took a long time to wash its body because it was so small.
“This won’t do. Just get in.” Sejun, who was watching, grabbed the golden bat with wooden tongs because he was getting impatient.
Swoosh.
He slowly put it in the water so the golden bat wouldn’t be scared. He didn’t want to touch it with his bare hands because of the dirt.
Chirp chirp.
As its body was in the warm water, the golden bat made a happy sound without even realizing it. It was the most comfortable feeling it had ever had. It was the first time it knew it could make such a sound. It was a sound it had forgotten.
As the golden bat washed, the water turned completely black.
(Such dirty water came from my body?)
The golden bat was ashamed that so much dirty water came out of its body.
“Okay, let’s change the water.” Fortunately, Sejun quickly changed the water. But the water turned black again. Sejun changed the water many times until the water finally stayed clean.
“Phew. It’s over. Golden Bat, you should rest too.”
(Yes.)
When Sejun was about to leave after cleaning the prison,
Grumble.
A sound came from the golden bat’s stomach. It suddenly remembered that there was nothing to eat in the prison.
“Are you hungry? Just a moment.” Sejun came out of the prison and brought Chef’s soup in a bowl.
“Eat up.”
(Yes. Thank you.)
Slurp. Slurp.
“Then rest.” Sejun left the golden bat eating soup and came out with the animals. The subspace prison was left open to air out.
A little later,
(Hehehe. Delicious. This master is a good master.)
The golden bat, left alone, ate the soup until it was full and muttered to itself.
(I have to work hard for the master!)
The golden bat’s body disappeared.
1 minute later.
Flap. Flap.
The golden bat reappeared with a golden tumbler in its legs.
(Phew. That was hard. The master will be happy if I bring something this big and shiny, right?)
Ba-da-bing.
Using its ability, the tired golden bat hung from the ceiling and fell asleep, happily thinking about being praised by Sejun.
Sniff sniff.
The animals that came out of the subspace prison smelled their own bodies, trying to find the bad smell. Sejun did the same, smelling his clothes.
“It seems the smell got into everything.”
The bad smell was still there.
“This won’t do. Let’s go to the fountain and wash up.”
The fountain had purification magic, so it was safe to wash there because the water was quickly cleaned.
Squawk!
Oong!
The black rabbit and Oong, wanting to get rid of the smell quickly, ran towards the fountain.
When Sejun arrived at the fountain,
“I’m against it, nya! I can get rid of the smell by grooming myself, nya! I’ll groom Chairman Park too, nya! Don’t go in the water, nya!” Theo stuck to Sejun’s lap and refused to wash.
But
“No. Your rejection is rejected.” Sejun didn’t want to be washed with Theo’s saliva, so he stepped into the water with Theo in his lap.
“Nyaaang!”
Flap flap.
Theo climbed up Sejun’s body and clung to Sejun’s face. Because of that, Sejun smelled the bad odor that had gotten into Theo’s fur.
“Hey… get off. It stinks.”
Sejun grabbed Theo’s scruff and slowly started putting Theo in the water.
“Oong!!!”
Theo shook his body and resisted, not wanting to get wet.
Splash. Splash.
The more he struggled, the wetter he got. In the end, Theo’s entire body was soaked.
“Hahaha. Representative Theo, you were so proud of your fur, huh?” Sejun laughed, looking at Theo, whose fur looked much smaller after getting wet.
“Don’t laugh, nya! It’s all Chairman Park’s fault, nya! And they’re proud of their fur too, nya!” Theo pointed at the black rabbit and Oong.
Squawk!!
Oong!!
The black rabbit and Oong, angry that Theo had included them, approached him.
“Nya? Let’s talk it out, nya,” Theo said quickly.
Grab.
Oong grabbed him by the collar and dragged him away.
A little later,
“Puhuhu. I’ll show you my swimming skills, nya!”
Squawk!
Oong!
The three of them, being in the same situation, quickly made up and started enjoying playing in the water. The bad smell disappeared while they were playing.
And
“Okay, let’s go!”
The last part of playing in the water was the water slide. They sat down holding hands and slid down the waterway with their bare skin.
Swoosh.
The thrill was even greater than before as they spun around, cutting through the water.
“Hehehe. This is fun.”
“Puhuhu. I’m the strongest even in the water, nya!”
Squawk!
Oong!
Sejun and the animals laughed happily as they reached the end of the waterway.
And
“Koo eee.”
Goro long.
Pya-da-bing.
Koo ro long.
They roughly shook off the water and started sleeping on a pile of leaves. As always, sleeping after playing in the water felt wonderful.
Just then,
“You’ll catch a cold if you sleep like this.” Iona came over and used drying magic to dry Sejun and the animals. She dried Theo’s tail especially carefully several times, making sure their fur was completely dry.
“Kkyut kkyut kkyut.” She hummed and naturally climbed onto Sejun’s lap, using Theo’s tail as a blanket and fell asleep. She didn’t think she would have a chance for a sweet nap until night, so she felt lucky.
As they were sleeping, Pew! Pew! came to wake Sejun and the animals. It was dinner time.
Pew! Pew! woke her teacher first to avoid any trouble and then woke everyone else.
“Umm…” Sejun and the animals woke up and went to the house for dinner.
“Ah, I’m full. Shall we take a walk?” When Sejun, who had finished dinner, was about to get up and take a light stroll around the farm to help digest his food,
“Huh?!” He felt a hot energy in his pocket.
“What is it?” Sejun reached into his pocket and pulled out a white seed that felt warm.
[Purified Enhanced Seed of Ent]
The corrupted Ent’s seed that absorbed the energy of the Blue Moon has been purified.
The seed has been enhanced with the energy of the Blue Moon.
The resistance to impure things has increased as the corrupted energy has been purified.
Permanently increases all stats by 15 upon consumption.
If planted in the ground, the seed will sprout and grow into a powerful Ent of purification.
Expiration date: 100 years
Grade: A+
“The purification is complete,” Sejun said, looking at the white seed.
“Where should I plant it?” He didn’t know how big the Ent of purification would grow, so he wasn’t sure where to plant it.
“Let’s think about the size I saw last time.” First, Sejun decided to plant the Ent seed in a very large open space, thinking it could grow to the size of the corrupted Ent that had absorbed the energy of the Blue Moon.
Thud.
Sejun dug a hole in the ground with a dagger and planted the seed.
[You have planted the Purified Enhanced Seed of Ent.]
[Job experience has greatly increased.]
[Proficiency of Seed Sowing Lv. 4 has greatly increased.]
[The proficiency of Seed Sowing Lv. 4 has increased by an additional 5% due to the effect of Proficiency Increase Lv. 1.]
[The proficiency of Seed Sowing Lv. 4 has been filled, and the level has increased.]
And
Tap. Tap.
When Sejun was patting the ground where he had planted the seed,
[It grows quickly using the power of the Purified Enhanced Seed of Ent.]
Crack.
The Purified Enhanced Seed of Ent sprouted instantly and began to rise from the ground.
