“Okay, this is where I live.”

Jayna, who had been gazing up at the brightly lit ceiling with a bewildered expression, staggered slightly, as if feeling a bit dizzy.

“Are you alright?”

As Kang Chan steadied her by the shoulder, Jayna seized the opportunity and hugged him tightly.

“Uncle, I’m dizzy.”

“Aish… That’s why I told you to see a healer first. You insisted on being stubborn. Here, get on my back.”

“I’m okay though…”

“Just hurry up and get on.”

“Okay!”

The Jayna who claimed to be dizzy was nowhere to be seen as she leaped onto Kang Chan’s back.

With Jayna on his back, Kang Chan walked around the warship, showing her the interior.

The massive warship was almost fully automated and manned by only a small crew, so the living quarters weren’t very spacious.

There wasn’t much to see, but Jayna was incredibly amazed and delighted, as if she had arrived in another world.

“Uncle! What’s that place over there?”

“That’s the shower room.”

“Shower room?”

“Yeah.”

“What’s that?”

“A place to wash.”

“A place to wash?”

“Yes.”

In a space warship where water was precious, showers had to be taken with a minimum amount of water. The shower room was a cylindrical, transparent glass booth with numerous spray nozzles installed on all sides.

“Wow, the place to wash is so bizarre. Then what’s next to it?”

Jayna pointed to the restroom, which had a large, strangely shaped funnel connected to a hose, installed inside a partitioned space.

This was also a state-of-the-art toilet that used minimal water to dispose of waste into space.

“That’s the restroom.”

“Restroom?”

“Yeah.”

“Why does the restroom look like that? Wow, that’s really funny.”

To an elf accustomed to pit toilets, the restroom installed in the warship looked unbelievably ridiculous.

“Wahahaha! Then do you always do your business there too, Uncle?”

“Hey!”

“Ahahaha! Sorry, sorry.”

Kang Chan, his face flushed, inwardly shouted at Jayna, ‘You try taking a dump in zero gravity!’

Inside the warship in space, artificial gravity fields created about half the gravity of Earth, but in preparation for emergencies, all facilities on the warship were developed and installed assuming zero gravity.

“What’s that over there?”

Jayna pointed to the artificial sleep chamber where the long-range navigation sleep capsules were installed, the same capsules that Kang Chan had been rescued from by the skin of his teeth. It was the place where all his comrades had been killed. He didn’t want to show Jayna a place with such painful memories.

“There’s not much to see there. Let’s go.”

“Huh? Why? Can’t I go?”

“Sorry, it’s a place with bad memories.”

When Kang Chan’s expression darkened, Jayna didn’t press further.

“Okay, I understand. Then I want to see where you eat and sleep now.”

“There’s really nothing to see there either.”

“Still, it’s the place I want to see the most. I’m curious about how my darling lives…”

Suddenly, Kang Chan’s body twitched as if struck by lightning.

‘Da, da, darling?’

When Jayna used the term ‘darling’ instead of ‘Uncle,’ Kang Chan was incredibly shocked. And he shouted with joy, as if he could fly.

“Hahaha, okay! If my darling wants to see, I have to show you!”

Kang Chan also shouted ‘darling’ loudly and excitedly, and Jayna’s face turned as red as a tomato.

Kang Chan instantly picked up Jayna, kissed her forehead, and shouted.

“Okay, hold on tight! I’m going to fly at maximum speed!”

“Okay!”

As Jayna held tightly to Kang Chan’s neck with both arms, Kang Chan ran swiftly through the narrow corridor towards Red Mars’s quarters.

“Kyaa! Run, run!”

As Kang Chan dashed like the wind, Jayna, who was being held, screamed happily and hugged Kang Chan even tighter. Arriving in front of his door in one breath, Kang Chan swallowed hard.

A wolf was starting to stir in his heart.

The soft skin and small breaths of Jayna, who was clinging to him, made his desires even more intense, and thoughts that shouldn’t be crossed his mind, causing Kang Chan to feel his reason gradually fading.

-Blood pressure levels are rising. Blood is pooling to one side.

‘Computer, don’t answer until I call you.’

-Understood. Silenced mode activated.

Kang Chan, having eliminated the nuisance, called out to Jayna.

“Ja, Jayna.”

“Umm?”

Kang Chan, his face flushed, took a moment to catch his breath before opening his trembling lips.

“I, if we keep going like this, I might…”

Jayna was momentarily bewildered by Kang Chan’s honest words, but she soon understood the meaning and her breathing started to quicken as well.

Kang Chan could even hear Jayna’s heartbeat.

Jayna hugged Kang Chan tightly, as if embarrassed, and said in a voice as small as a mosquito’s.

“I… like it too.”

Upon hearing her bold words, a volcano erupted in Kang Chan’s chest, and unable to control his reason any longer, Kang Chan hastily opened the entrance to his room and tried to throw Jayna onto his bed.

However, an unforeseen situation unfolded before them.

The room was not empty.

“Oh? You’re here?”

“Heok!”

Kang Chan froze in that instant.

“Oh? Who’s that girl?”

Zekeon, who had arrived earlier without him even noticing, was lying on Kang Chan’s bed in a seductive pose, wearing only a few scraps of underwear and reading a book.

Jayna, who was being held by the frozen Kang Chan, slowly turned her head to look at Zekeon.

Jayna shook her head in disbelief.

“U, Uncle, no way?”

Her eyes were filled with disbelief, and the fire that had been burning between them instantly turned into an arctic blast.

“Let me go.”

Jayna escaped from Kang Chan’s arms as if running away.

“No! Jayna, please listen to me.”

“W, what’s going on?”

“Well, that is…”

“This is too much. I really liked you, Uncle.”

A single tear streamed down Jayna’s cheek.

“I’m leaving.”

As Jayna, shedding tears, tried to run away from Kang Chan, Kang Chan grabbed her.

“It’s a misunderstanding! Jayna.”

Thwack!

Jayna raised her hand and slapped Kang Chan across the cheek. The crisp sound of the slap echoed throughout Kang Chan’s small room.

“You bad man! Get out of my way! I’m going home!”

“No! You can’t go! You’re not going anywhere until you listen to me!”

Kang Chan, undeterred by Jayna’s slap, grabbed Jayna’s shoulders and clung to her.

Jayna struggled violently to shake off Kang Chan, but Kang Chan couldn’t let her go until she listened to him.

“Let go! Let go of me! I said let go!”

“Listen to me, Jayna. This is a misunderstanding. The woman in front of you isn’t human! She’s a dragon!”

Jayna, momentarily paused at the word ‘dragon,’ looked at Kang Chan. But her gaze was not one of acceptance or understanding, but one of even deeper disbelief.

“Ugh!”

Jayna kicked Kang Chan in the shin.

“Agh!”

“What, a dragon? Couldn’t you come up with a better lie? Do you think I’ll believe you if you say that? Seriously, what kind of being is a dragon that she’d be lying on the bed in such a vulgar manner, waiting for a human like you? Get out of my way right now! I don’t want to talk to you anymore.”

Zekeon, who had suddenly become a vulgar woman, grimaced as if she had bitten into dirt.

“No, it’s true! You can ask her! She’s really a dragon!”

“Her? Huh, as if a dragon would just stand there and let you call her ‘her.’ Why don’t you try saying that the woman in front of you is G. Zekeon, the ruler of the Elven Forest?”

“Oh? You know her! Yes, that dragon’s name is G. Zekeon. She’s a friend I made recently.”

Kang Chan, relieved that Jayna knew Zekeon’s name, let out a sigh of relief, but Jayna’s second hand flew towards his cheek, and another crisp slap echoed through the room.

Thwack!

“What kind of guy are you? Were you always like this? How can you lie so shamelessly? Is a dragon like a dog’s name? Huh? Making friends and putting them on the bed as you please!”

Zekeon, now being treated like a dog, felt very unpleasant, but she quietly watched their fight, finding Jayna’s scathing remarks to be quite refreshing.

“Please believe me. Have I ever lied to you even once? Why can’t you trust me? Hey! Zekeon, say something! Tell her you’re a dragon.”

Kang Chan looked at Zekeon with resentful eyes, asking for help, but Zekeon just shrugged her shoulders, averted her gaze, and pretended not to hear.

“Please don’t joke around, Aagh!”

Jayna bit Kang Chan’s finger, which was holding her.

“Aaa… Jayna, don’t do this! Hey! Zekeon!”

With the situation as it was, Zekeon had no choice but to intervene.

“Enough, young elf.”

As Zekeon unleashed her hidden dragon aura, the intensely emanating presence of the dragon enveloped Jayna, an elf with a sensitive mental system.

Jayna, an elf with a mana-sensitive sense, could instinctively tell who the aura belonged to.

“Huk! Su, surely!”

Jayna, terrified, spat out Kang Chan’s finger and collapsed to the ground, her legs giving way.

“Jayna! Are you okay?”

Kang Chan, startled by Jayna suddenly collapsing, supported her and helped her up.

Jayna’s face was filled with terror.

To Jayna, who was not yet an adult, the presence of Zekeon, an ancient-class dragon, was terrifyingly immense.

“Jayna, what’s wrong?”

“Dr, dr, dragon!”

Leaving those last words, Jayna fainted.

Having received such a great mental shock in such a state of agitation, she had fainted.

“Jayna! Jayna! Wake up, Jayna!”

“She just fainted for a moment. Put her on the bed.”

Kang Chan said to Zekeon, who was speaking nonchalantly, with murderous eyes.

“You didn’t do anything to Jayna, did you?”

“What could I have done? She just recognized me and fainted. It happens often, so don’t worry too much. She’ll wake up soon.”

Looking at Jayna breathing evenly, it seemed that there was nothing wrong as Zekeon said, but Kang Chan was still filled with worry.

“There will probably never be a day when I resent you as much as I do today.”

Kang Chan said to Zekeon with tears of blood in his eyes.
