363. Going to a New Home
[Teasing you with the pig lol]
When Shin Jo-woon teased him with a text, Jang Tae-ri bombarded him with texts in quick succession.
[Why?]
[Why why why?]
[Am I?]
[What, why am I excluded from the meeting?]
[I don’t believe it. Send a picture.]
[No, show me a video so I can grill you.]
Shin Jo-woon prepared for a live video call, but when Rembrary entered, he quickly turned the camera towards Rembrary and showed him off.
“Can you see?”
As he showed off, a line of Viennese sausages followed Rembrary in. What was that? Jang Tae-ri burst into laughter on the screen.
[Is it really just the two of you?]
“I’ll call you later.”
Shin Jo-woon wondered who those people were and hung up. Not his group… strangers?
As he was thinking, Rembrary quickly approached. But they didn’t seem to be strangers. The people who followed him were trailing right behind.
Eventually, as Rembrary got closer, Shin Jo-woon pointed at the people with his chin and asked directly.
“Who are they?”
He remembered that one of them was Ardord, but he didn’t recognize the other two.
Rembrary held out his palm and pointed to Believer No. 305 and Mullu alternately, explaining.
“This is Kim… No. 305. This is Mullu. This is Ardord.”
Were they the Guan Yu and Snail he was going to mention on the phone? Shin Jo-woon quickly realized and pointed to the believer and Mullu alternately, asking.
“Who’s Snail? Who’s Guan Yu?”
Mullu stepped forward before Shin Jo-woon could answer.
“This one is Guan Yu. I don’t know what Guan Yu is, but the High Priest sometimes calls me that.”
But even after hearing the answer, Shin Jo-woon frowned. Another person naturally using historical drama speech.
One uses royal court speech, and the other uses general’s speech. Did they plan this as a set?
“And you…”
Shin Jo-woon looked at Believer No. 305 with an ‘Are you going to use prime minister speech?’ expression, and Believer No. 305 bowed, wondering if he should introduce himself with a nickname too.
“Hello, I’m Snail.”
Shin Jo-woon was relieved that Kim No. 305 didn’t use historical drama speech, but he still tilted his head, wondering who these people were.
Seeing this, Rembrary added an explanation.
“In your terms, Mullu is my guard, and Three-oh-five followed me because I helped him. He will be helpful in many ways.”
“A complicated relationship.”
Shin Jo-woon first offered Rembrary a seat.
As Rembrary sat across from him, Shin Jo-woon handed him the menu and asked again.
“Anyway. Why do you suddenly want a house? You said you wouldn’t leave even if they told you to get out.”
“Didn’t I fail to find Jookyung [a child Rembrary is trying to help]? So I have to bring him. I can’t leave him in the training center forever. And I took in another child. I have to raise two children.”
Shin Jo-woon was dumbfounded and asked back.
“Why do you keep taking in children?”
“It just happened. Anyway, six people will live in one house. So I need to find a house, but I don’t have money.”
“Are you asking to borrow money?”
“No, I’m asking you to help me release an album.”
“!”
“Why would I trust you enough to lend you money?”
“That’s what the lender should say. Don’t steal my line.”
“Can you help?”
Shin Jo-woon took the menu from Rembrary’s hand and handed it to Mullu, who was sitting upright next to Rembrary, and clicked his tongue.
“When are you going to buy a house after preparing, selling, and settling the album? Just move into my house.”
Mullu, who had taken the menu without knowing what anything tasted like, was bewildered.
Believer No. 305 explained the menu to Mullu in a small voice, and Rembrary began to ask about Shin Jo-woon’s house.
“Is it big enough for six people to live in?”
“Yeah.”
“Where is the house located?”
“Where would be good?”
“Are you asking me where your house is?”
“I’m going to live where you say.”
“Are you going to buy it now?”
Believer No. 305 was explaining iced Americano to Mullu when he stopped, surprised by Shin Jo-woon’s generous offer.
But Believer No. 305 soon agreed that Shin Jo-woon would make such an offer.
He knew that Shin Jo-woon was the president of one of the leading hunter companies in Korea. Rembrary, who he owed a debt to, turned out to be the only healer in the world. He had become famous quickly while his village was isolated from the rest of the world.
For a large hunter company president like Shin Jo-woon, investing that much in the only healer in the world was worth it.
The problem was the receiver. Wouldn’t it be a bit burdensome for the other person to act like that… Believer No. 305 looked at Rembrary worriedly.
However, Rembrary was happy without any burden as soon as Shin Jo-woon brought it up.
“Good idea!”
Believer No. 305 was impressed again. Amazing. There’s no problem because he has no shame even if he’s shameless.
But whatever Believer No. 305 thought, Rembrary was meticulously adding conditions.
“Jookyung and the child are both seven years old, so they have to go to school next year. So it would be nice if the house was near a school. A good school district too.”
“Is the newly adopted child’s name I?”
“Si-young. Oh Si-young. But after calling her I I, I got used to it.”
“Unexpected. I didn’t think you’d care about school districts.”
“Me? Why did you think that?”
“Because you’re not good at studying.”
The moment Rembrary tried to protest against Shin Jo-woon’s firm prejudice.
Mullu, who was tearing through the menu, stared at him like Cerberus from hell [a fearsome multi-headed dog from Greek mythology].
But when Rembrary told him, “Mullu, he’s my friend,” he immediately took the force out of his eyes.
“The High Priest is the center of wisdom. The High Priest is simply studying differently from us, and he is definitely not bad at studying.”
That force moved to his mouth.
What kind of crazy talk is that? Ardord added from the side, as if not wanting to lose, to the bewildered Shin Jo-woon.
“Rembrary’s words are the correct answer, and all others are wrong.”
Rembrary nodded contentedly at the true appearance of the two believers.
Shin Jo-woon frowned, looking back and forth between Rembrary, Mullu, and Ardord.
Was the purpose of coming out of Redrin not education, but to create a new religion? He became a little suspicious.

Rembrary called Jookyung and first asked if he wanted to live together until he found his family.
In return for Shin Jo-woon lending him the house, he also promised to provide treatment to the first 50 people on a first-come, first-served basis.
After that, while Shin Jo-woon was finding a house, cleaning it up, and especially preparing two rooms for the children.
Rembrary brought Jookyung from the training center, and in the process, he was caught by the training center director and scolded for when he would bring the early discharge consent form. He was quite busy.
The chief’s secretary also used all of Redrin’s information to find the pterosaur-shaped monster and was very busy.
And fifteen days later. Finally, he received a call that the house was completed.

While Ardord was driving, entering the address Shin Jo-woon had told him into the navigation, Mullu was stuck to the window, looking around and marveling.
Rembrary sat next to Mullu in the back seat, wanting to tell him everything as a senior foreigner, and kept talking.
“Do you see that?”
“I see it.”
“That’s a shop.”
“Shop.”
“They do makeup there. And fix their hair.”
“In groups? Not alone?”
“Yes. Isn’t it amazing?”
Ardord kept glancing at the scene through the rearview mirror, thinking to himself, ‘No, it’s not,’ but he was afraid that Rembrary would hate him for ruining the mood, so he just twitched his knees.
Meanwhile, Si-young was only thinking about who Jookyung, the child she would be living with, would be.
Since her two younger siblings had disappeared, Si-young hoped that Jookyung would be about the same age as her younger siblings.
Then, when the car finally stopped, Si-young was the first to open the car door and get out.
Soon after, another car stopped nearby, and Believer No. 305 got out of the driver’s seat.
And the child who got out of the back seat. It was Jookyung, who Si-young had been so curious about.
Si-young looked around and stopped, her eyes wide, when she saw Jookyung.
Jookyung, too, had only heard about Si-young and was seeing her for the first time, so she just stared at Si-young with curious eyes.
“This way.”
As they were doing that, Shin Jo-woon, who had arrived first, called people from inside the front door.
Rembrary left the two children to greet each other and walked towards him.
The first thing he saw as soon as he entered was a bright living room with a high ceiling. And there were doors everywhere. It was a house with several rooms as promised.
“Can I look at the rooms?”
“As much as you want.”
Shin Jo-woon stood arrogantly, watching Rembrary walk around and the others admire the house.
He heard Mullu whisper to Rembrary, “The house is small,” but he tried to pretend he didn’t hear it.
He had immediately recognized that the woman was similar to Rembrary after hearing the historical drama speech Mullu used.
Thanks to this, Rembrary was able to walk around the rooms with Mullu without anyone bothering him and look around to his heart’s content.
Ardord followed closely, trying to get in between them somehow, but he didn’t seem to have much success and remained in the back.
On the other hand, the two children stood side by side, awkwardly fidgeting with their fingers.
Then, when Believer No. 305 bumped into the invisible Si-young and looked around in surprise, saying, “A ghost?”, the two children looked at each other and laughed.
They both seemed to like each other, so even though they were unfamiliar now, they seemed like they would get along well over time.
Rembrary, who was passing by and saw that, thought of the academy in his world.
‘They said there’s a school here too.’
When you go to the academy, you never know when you’ll have a life-or-death duel. Even if it’s a life-or-death duel, they’re still students, so they don’t actually risk their lives, but if you lose there, you’re immediately kicked out of the academy, and being kicked out of the academy meant that you couldn’t adapt to aristocratic society.
For this reason, it was very important to form your own power in the academy.
‘It’s a different world, but the basic framework will be similar, right?’
But our children are smart and one is an Awakened [someone with special abilities], so it’ll be okay. Rembrary thought contentedly and called Mullu.
“Mullu.”
“Yes, High Priest.”
“How is it here?”
“If the High Priest likes it, I like it too.”
“No, I mean this world.”
“I don’t know yet. It’s awkward. I’m also worried about Ninling.”
“Ask me everything you don’t know. I know a lot about this place now. But I was often treated ignorantly until I knew. I hope you don’t suffer a lot.”
How long had he been walking around like that?
‘Huh?’
Rembrary noticed something strange and went to Shin Jo-woon.
Shin Jo-woon was taking barley tea out of the refrigerator, putting ice in an empty glass, and pouring it. When Rembrary came, he closed the lid of the barley tea container and asked.
“Did you see everything?”
“Yeah. But you said seven rooms would be enough, so why are there eight? Is one a guest room?”
“The owner’s room.”
“Ah.”
Rembrary didn’t like that Shin Jo-woon had included his own room without saying anything, but as he said, he was the owner of the house, so he had nothing to complain about.
“Is there a problem?”
“…Not really.”
But suddenly, there was a commotion on the second floor living room. Someone was screaming and someone was crying.
