Thank you to everyone who read to the end and is reading this afterword.
This work, my second piece and second entry to a contest, unfortunately leaves much to be desired. Unlike my first work, I faced many external difficulties in the latter half, which shook me quite a bit.
I caught COVID, had to deal with family matters, and my health deteriorated towards the end, making this project a truly eventful one.
Because of that, there were things I wanted to show but couldn’t, and the side stories deviated too much from my initial plans due to time constraints, both external and internal. This is the most disappointing aspect.
I could have written it in a much more enjoyable way, but I’m sorry I couldn’t. I was, however, able to receive meaningful feedback that I will reflect on next time.
I am, of course, grateful for all the supportive and critical comments left by readers. Thanks to them, I believe I can return with a much more complete work next time.
The next work I’ll be presenting is something I had planned even before this one, but I want to write it much more perfectly. Therefore, I’m gathering data and planning the plot more thoroughly.
Once my health recovers and I feel it’s the right time to present it on Munpia [a Korean web novel platform], I’ll return to greet you with a new work.
Going into this project, I thought I could do better than my first work, where I was a complete novice, but I realized there’s still much more to learn.
Still, the fact that I was able to finish my second work like this is all thanks to the readers who read my writing. I plan to use everything I learned from my first work and this one to maximize the strengths and eliminate the weaknesses in my next project.
My mouth and hands are itching [meaning, I’m eager to write], but I’ll prepare even more perfectly and come back with my best writing.
I am always grateful, and I sincerely hope that all of you readers take care of your health and that only good things happen to you in the future.
