I woke up later than usual, still feeling the effects of the late night before.
I had turned off my alarm and drifted back to sleep, so when I finally opened my eyes, it was almost noon.
“I definitely feel heavy,” I groaned.
Even getting out of bed felt like a monumental effort.
I opened the door and stepped outside, immediately noticing a strange sound I couldn’t place.
Swish, swish.
It sounded like someone was cleaning.
Intrigued, I followed the sound.
Why was it coming from that direction?
The closer I got to the bathroom, the louder the sound became.
When I reached the bathroom and peeked inside, I was completely taken aback.
Olivia was cleaning the bathroom.
“Olivia! What are you doing? We have a cleaning service for that. Please, stop and relax.”
“Kang, I’ve been at it for a while now. It’s nothing, really. I used to clean entire buildings, so this space is a breeze.”
“Even so, Olivia, you’re our guest.”
“Kang and everyone at the agency have been so kind to me, I’m just trying to show my appreciation. I woke up early this morning and honestly, this is much more enjoyable than just sitting around. I genuinely enjoy cleaning; it makes me happy.”
“Still, you should really just rest…”
No matter what I said, she seemed determined to continue.
“And also, I wanted to ask you and Lee something later. Could you spare a few minutes?”
“Of course. Anything you need, I’m happy to help.”
“There’s this fun feature on social media [SNS – Social Networking Service], but I’m a little confused about how to use it. Could you explain it to me later?”
Social media…
That was completely unexpected.
“Of course. I’d be glad to help you with that.”
“Great! I’ll finish up here quickly and come out. You had a long day yesterday because of us, so please, get some rest.”
“Okay… I understand.”
I couldn’t shake the feeling that our roles had been reversed.
With a slightly bewildered feeling, I headed to the living room for a cup of coffee, but then –
Wow!
What in the world?
I couldn’t believe my eyes at the incredible shine and sparkle.
I finally understood what people meant when they said the floor was gleaming.
I could practically feel the smooth texture just by looking at it, and I was almost worried about slipping because it was so polished.
“Wow… Is this even possible?”
There wasn’t a speck of dust to be seen, not just on the TV but everywhere around it. Even when I swiped my hand across surfaces, nothing.
It wasn’t just superficially clean; the attention to detail was astounding.
I always thought our living room was clean, but I guess I was wrong.
I used to think the cleaning ladies who came here were pretty good, but they seemed lacking compared to Olivia.
While I was still marveling at the room, I heard someone approaching.
“CEO, what’s going on?”
Lee Ju-hyuk was walking towards me, his eyes wide with surprise, just like mine.
“Ju-hyuk, doesn’t it feel like we just moved in?”
“Did a cleaning company come? It looks completely different from usual.”
“Olivia cleaned this morning.”
“Olivia did all this by herself?”
“Yes, and she’s cleaning the bathroom right now.”
When I nodded, Lee Ju-hyuk’s jaw dropped in disbelief.
“She’s incredible. How can someone clean this well?”
“Should we start a cleaning business with Olivia?”
I turned my head again and gazed at the dust-free space, and I couldn’t help but laugh.
A little later, Olivia emerged from the bathroom, having finished her cleaning.
I assumed she would finally rest, but Olivia was still bustling around.
“Olivia, come on over here. Let’s have a cup of tea and relax.”
“That sounds lovely. I’m just going to prepare something first, then I’ll rest.”
“What are you preparing now?”
“Watson and his Jaguars teammates will be here soon. I can’t just sit idly by.”
Oh my…
She was even preparing food.
Didn’t her body feel exhausted after all that walking yesterday?
Olivia effortlessly took out the ingredients and cooking utensils.
She seemed to know exactly where everything was.
When did she figure that out?
“Can I help you with anything?”
I jumped up and headed to the kitchen.
“It’s okay, I can handle the cooking myself.”
“Still, it’s better if we do it together. It’ll be faster than doing it alone.”
“Alright, then please help me with a few things.”
Lee Ju-hyuk soon joined us, and the cooking frenzy began.
Olivia skillfully assigned tasks to both me and Lee Ju-hyuk.
Under her direction, Lee Ju-hyuk and I worked like crazy, preparing the food.
Olivia’s cooking skills were also exceptional.
She whipped up the dishes in no time.
From cleaning to preparing food, I could only conclude that she was truly versatile.
Watson’s wife, who had left her sleeping daughter, also came out to help, and we were able to finish quickly.
Steak, pasta, hamburgers, and other dishes perfect for an American-style home party were soon ready.
While we were taking a break, I showed Olivia the new social media feature she had asked about earlier.
She quickly grasped the live mode of the platform.
She was planning to do a live broadcast soon.

Ding-dong. Ding-dong.
The visitors to the agency’s accommodation were the Jaguars players.
It was their day off, and with an away game in the metropolitan area coming up, they had plenty of free time.
Donald Watson, of course, and Michael Scott and Seo Seong-min also joined.
Lee Ju-hyuk and Olivia went to the door to greet the players.
“Oh, welcome! It’s so wonderful to see you all. Our Jaguars players.”
While Watson’s wife greeted Watson, Olivia greeted the other players first.
“Olivia, I’ve been seeing you a lot on social media lately. You’re becoming quite popular.”
Scott greeted Olivia with a bright smile.
“Haha, Scott, your pitching has been perfect lately. Are you going to win the MVP [Most Valuable Player award]?”
“Hahaha, I’ll have to work even harder.”
Scott expressed his joy with a hearty laugh and a clap.
After greeting Scott, Olivia turned her attention to Seo Seong-min.
“Perfect switch hitter, your swing looks incredibly sharp these days.”
“Thank you.”
“Seo, how is your child growing up?”
“Yes, he’s changing every day. I really miss not being able to see him every day.”
“Every day must be wonderful. I felt the same way when I was raising Watson.”
After greeting Seo Seong-min, Olivia finally turned to Donald Watson.
Olivia and Donald hugged, sharing their joy.
“Donald, are you eating well?”
“Of course. The team takes such good care of me. And Scott and Seo are at the home stadium accommodation, so I eat very well.”
“I’m so glad you have good colleagues.”
“Mom, are you enjoying living in Korea?”
“Of course, Donald. Korea is such a wonderful country. Every day is fun.”
Olivia said, unable to hide the happiness in her expression.
I, who was standing next to her, chimed in.
“Watson, should I tell you something amazing?”
“What is it?”
“Do you know how many social media followers Olivia has?”
“My mom is on social media?”
Watson was surprised and widened his eyes.
“She just started yesterday.”
“Then she probably has around 1,000 followers? No, 1,000 in one day is too much, so maybe around 500?”
It was actually amazing that she had gained 1,000 followers in less than 24 hours.
“Hey, I wouldn’t have brought it up if it was that little.”
“Then… how many?”
“Over 10,000.”
“Eh? 10,000 people follow my mom’s social media?”
Watson looked at me and Olivia alternately, as if he couldn’t believe it.
“Looking at it now, it’s 11,000. And it’s still growing.”
“Why do people follow my mom’s social media?”
Watson tilted his head, looking completely bewildered.
“Olivia is incredibly famous now. She might become more famous than you soon, Watson.”
Even after hearing my words, Watson’s reaction didn’t change.
“Watson, I think you should try social media too. I just discovered how much fun it is.”
Olivia said, pulling out her smartphone.
“Mom, do you even know how to use it?”
“You can learn what you don’t know, one step at a time. It’s not that difficult once you try it.”
Olivia answered, taking another selfie.
“Can you even read Korean?”
“Watson, what kind of world do we live in these days? If you just press translate, it’ll tell you in English right away. And anything in English is also translated into Korean instantly.”
“Hehe.”
Watson burst out laughing, as if he was dumbfounded.
On the other hand, Scott, who had been listening to the conversation, showed interest and approached.
“Wow, Olivia. I should try it too.”
“Scott, that’s a great idea.”
“Our agency has social media, but it would be more fun to communicate directly with Korean fans, right?”
Scott asked, taking out his smartphone.
“Of course. Let’s take a picture first. The Jaguars fans will love it.”
Olivia took a picture with Scott and quickly uploaded it.
Within seconds, I could see the fans’ reactions.
└It’s a picture that makes my heart flutter just by looking at it.
└Where did Donald Watson go? Our Jaguars treasures.
└Dream Agency forever!!!
“Let’s go inside and eat first. You’ve all been working so hard since morning.”
I led the players and Watson’s family into the accommodation.
As soon as they opened the door and stepped inside, the players couldn’t hide their surprise at the impeccably clean space.
And then came the meal.
The players’ exclamations of delight didn’t stop.
And as soon as they finished eating, they revealed Michael Scott’s new social media account, created with Olivia’s help, to the fans.
With as much enthusiastic response as Olivia, the number of followers was rapidly increasing.

As the club passed 100 regular season games, the rankings were starting to solidify.
In fact, teams that were unlikely to make the postseason were already preparing for next season, while teams with a chance of playing in the fall were fiercely battling for position.
Unfortunately, So Young-joon’s Pelicans, Jang Su-young’s Angels, and Choi Jeong-hwan’s Doubles were unlikely to be invited to the postseason.
It would have been interesting to see Jang Su-young and Choi Jeong-hwan compete for the save title, but unfortunately, that would have to wait for another opportunity.
The postseason berths for the Wolves, Dragons, Buffaloes, and Jaguars, currently ranked 1st through 4th, were virtually guaranteed.
Among them, the battle for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place between the Dragons, Buffaloes, and Jaguars was incredibly tight.
The gap hardly widened throughout the season, and each game felt like walking on thin ice.
It seemed to foreshadow a fierce competition for ranking right up until the final game of the season.
