“People of Cairo!” he began, his voice strong and clear. “Today, we celebrate those who saved our nation!”

He began to announce the heroes, his words ringing with authority. “Count Vandenberg,” Daniel Cairo declared, his voice filled with respect, “Commander of the Western Front! You bravely fought back the Chronos Empire and made Cairo stronger! For this, I, Daniel Cairo, King of Cairo, give you the title of Marquis! You will also receive land and people worthy of this high rank!”

A roar of approval went through the crowd. This was a huge honor. Only two Marquis titles existed in Cairo. With Marquis Benedict gone, Count Vandenberg was now raised to this incredibly powerful position.
